Another new hidden gem that has opened in Sedona. Costa by Madrid is a gorgeous spot serving elevated Latin cuisine with real creativity. The ceviche is bright and fresh, the small plates are bold and flavorful, and the cocktails are on point. The space feels intimate and stylish, making it perfect for a date night or a special dinner. The menu is on the smaller side, but everything is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. A standout addition to the Sedona dining scene.

Sedona Community! I cannot stop thinking about this incredible tapas mealI had on Thurs evening at our new Latin American restaurant Costa.(happy hour – a SOLID value in Sedona)! Having lived in Peru for several years, I’ve been craving these flavors and Costa got it right!
The ceviche was literal perfection. Just as fresh and delicious as the ceviche made right from the sea in Ecuador.
The tostada de carne – such great textures and flavor. If never had anything like it before.
The chiccaron de cameron (shrimp) were crispy and the salad it comes with was the exact right balance.
And finally the most surprising Id all – the totopos de atun sabroso. The ahi was literally like butter. Melted in my mouth. So fresh. And the crispy chip and the mildly spicy pickled jalapeno were heavenly with it.
Each dish was a generous portion I could just eat one tapas with a glass of wine and it would be plenty. For 2 people, we had 4 tapas and we were stuffed. (We did clean every plate because they were soooo tasty!)
The service is also very upscale dining! The only downside was that the server didn’t tell the kitchen we wanted no cilantro so everything came with micro cilantro. We were able to pick it off though.
I highly recommend this newish restaurant. Some of the best food I’ve had in Sedona.

Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and vibrant energy. The food was outstanding — every dish was bursting with authentic Latin American flavors, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. The ceviche was fresh and zesty, the empanadas were crispy and flavorful.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave excellent recommendations. The cocktails were also top-notch — creative, balanced, and delicious.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a taste of Latin America here in town. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

A new restaurant with a Latin-inspired tapas menu. It was perfectly average, with opportunity for improvements in flavors. The oysters were smothered in toppings and so no “oyster taste” was there. The ceviche was flavorless, and had a frozen chunk of purple ice on top. I do recommend the plantains that had a great texture and flavor. Happy hour daily from 4-6 for a better deal.

This was one of the most memorable meals of my entire life! Everything was so unique, fresh and flavorful. Our amazing server recommended the prime rib tostada and the crispy shrimp to start with, and she did not steer us wrong. Absolutely incredible! We split the sea bass for our entree and it was truly divine. The sea bass was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside with the best sauce. I can’t begin to describe the flavors and how everything came together. 5 stars, 10/10, best meal of our trip to Sedona!

The ceviche was good. Fresh and very well complemented by the yuca chips.
The churrasco was the star of the night. Well seasoned and at right requested temp.
The only down point might have been the fact that they looked understaffed. The server did all he could to cover the whole restaurant and did not disappoint. Kudos to him.

First time visiting Sedona and we decided to try this spot after we had it recommended to us from our concierge at our hotel. 5/5 fantastic food, great authentic flavours and exquisite dishes that I haven’t seen before. Being from Miami our standards are very high when it comes to restaurant and haute cuisine but Costa by Madrid blew us away. Highly recommend the beef tenderloin, chicken empanadas, hamachi crudo, oysters and the beef carpaccio. Oh and the flourless chocolate-tamarin cake was out of this world! Brook was our fabulous server who was very polite and friendly. Definitely a gem in the heart of Sedona!
