We were welcomed and served quickly, and the atmosphere is fun and youthful, with lots of students around. The pizza itself was tasty, but I have one major concern: the bottom side of the dough had a strange burnt or dirty smell, almost as if the baking tray or surface hadn’t been properly cleaned. That really affected the flavor. Other than that, it’s a decent place with good pizza.

I’ve been hearing about the all-famous Cosmo’s from my daughter for the past 2 years while she’s been attending CU Boulder, and on 1 Aug 2025, I finally got to try it for dinner. Living in Las Vegas (LV), which happens to be one of the biggest foodie capitals of the world, I’m always skeptical of pizza restaurants at other locations because I’ve had my fair share of outstanding pizzas in LV. Not to mention, I’m not a huge pizza fan in the first place so I don’t normally pick pizza as my first choice for a dinner meal – but, it’s good once in a while and especially when your daughter recommends it. With that said, when I walked in the restaurant, I was in awe with the pizza slices on display…they were giant! That immediately got my attention because I love value; however, at that point, I was curious if the quality matches the overall value.

My daughter and I were starving so we ended up ordering two mushroom pizzas, bacon-jalapeno-cream cheese pizza (also known as the bacon popper pizza or just popper pizza according to one of the employees working that evening), and the supreme pizza. Hands-down, these pizzas were astonishing! What’s even more impressive is the fact that after I ate my two slices, I wasn’t extremely full like I get at traditional pizza restaurants. This was a good thing, yet can be dangerous for me because if I lived around here, I’d probably order three or maybe even four slices per sitting. Let’s just say that I’m glad I don’t live in Boulder because of this. I also noticed from their online menu that they had a specialty pizza called, “The Maverick,” which has the same ingredients as the Popper but with Pepperoni added to it. I’ll have to try this pizza during my next visit because unfortunately, I didn’t see this pizza until after I left. Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that we tried their Tiramisu as well – it was decent…definitely wasn’t something to brag about, but then again, this is a pizza restaurant; not an Italian dessert shop.

The service was remarkable that evening – the gentleman who took our order was courteous, prompt, and friendly…I mean that’s always the biggest thing people can ask for in a cashier when trying new fast food/fast casual restaurants. The restaurant itself could’ve used some freshening up with respect to cleanliness, organization, and décor. Also, I’d recommend using a bigger plate (or whatever product) to place the pizza slice on because although seeing a monstrous pizza sitting on top of a paper plate may seem appealing to some, it may also have some folks cringing because some of the pizza touches the bare (potentially unsanitary) surface.

Overall, I loved my experience here as depicted in my 5-star rating. The price-to-quantity/quality is superb and I especially respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans – thank you for that! I am definitely going to be a repeat customer during my next visit and I highly recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors.

I really want to love you.

It was a long, emotional night at the Buffs game, and as someone who can’t eat gluten, my post-game food options were… limited. Desperate, hungry, and fueled by hope, I embarked on a quest to the highly recommended gluten-free pizza at Cosmos.

After an eternity of walking, I arrived to find a line about 20 people deep. “This must be fantastic,” I thought. So I waited. Starving. Optimistic. Wondering why I didn’t pack snacks. I digress.

Finally, it was my turn. I confidently ordered a gluten-free pizza with my carefully curated toppings. I love toppings.

You were out…

Immediate despair. I exited the in silence while my boyfriend ordered his slice and lived the dream I could not.

The next day, when it was safe, he confirmed it was, in fact, a top-tier slice of pizza.

I hope to try the gf pizza someday, as I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews (from the college kids next to me at the game). Good gf pizza is rare to find. Until then, 2 stars, because my boyfriend loved it and I’m sure it’s great. Until next time.

Cass, Londy, and I stopped into Cosmos tonight instead of doing our usual delivery. We ordered the 24-inch pepperoni, sausage, and black olive pizza, plus a tiramisu that honestly should come with a permission slip.

The pizza is always good, but dining in just hits on another level. The crust was perfect, the toppings were stacked just right, and the whole thing reminded us why this place has its own loyal orbit of regulars.

Big respect to the staff tonight. They were moving nonstop, keeping everything flowing without missing a beat. You could tell the team had pride in what they were doing, and it showed in every detail.

Cosmos… thanks for a great meal and great energy. You’ve got your own little corner of the universe dialed in.

Pizza isn’t even cooked and Edward Scissorhands butchered the pizza.Been going since Ryan owned the place but I guess things have gone downhil.Im pretty sure you advertise no delivery fees hmmm 3.50 delivery fee.Goes to show that nobody cares about what the customer is getting as any manager would never have sent that out of the store.Take a look around a lot of businesses are boarded up in town and you need to be next

Edit: ordered some delivery and they recently took the cash option off the website, forcing me to pay card on which I am unable to tip. I explained this to the delivery man and he had a horrible attitude and was very rude. I GREW UP ON THIS PIZZA idk why they have to be so disrespectful always. I consistently tip this same guy with cash when cash was an option.

I come here all the time, they somehow have no organization, just forget about orders all the time. I waited like 20 minutes for a slice and was given an old to go slice that was intended for somebody else when I came and questioned it.

The staff is always friendly and the pizza is on point. You want a pizza that has a nice dough to it. Cosmos is the place. Giant slices with the spicy ranch makes my day when I go in. They have a great deal Monday-Friday from 12-5pm on two slices and a drink for around $10 depending on the toppings you want. I recommend the jalapeño, pepperoni, and cream cheese slice. So good!
