The front door was locked although google maps said they were open. It also appeared to be barricaded. Not sure if they’re permanently closed, but it was very uninviting so I just left. I noticed after leaving there was an open area in the back, but nobody was sitting out there. So it’s just confusing.
If this place is still open, they definitely could use a remodel to make the entrance more appealing. I was excited to visit since the online reviews are pretty strong, but my first impressions were a bit different.

Wow what a friendly place to visit! These people and this bar was a welcoming place from the start. We were visiting Rome from NC and we had two dogs with us. No clue where to go to enjoy a beer outside with our fur babies but we hit the jackpot! They have an outstanding selection of beer (we love sours) and plenty of comfortable seating and super friendly people! I would recommend this place 110%! Thanks for making our trip so special and making us feel comfortable! This is a happy place

Love this place! Huuuugeahhhh variety of beers! Fantastic bartenders, order a slushy, wine, and bring your puppies! Live music all year round. Have a drink and watch the river roll by!

Been to this unique and friendly beer garden twice now, and it’s just great. Plenty of taps & can options to choose from in a one of a kind location right at the Etowah River. If you find yourself in Rome GA, and you like craft brews, this is the outdoor space you want to visit. There might be a good truck on site, and there might be live entertainment, but there’s always a great atmosphere & there are several good options nearby. You’re welcome to bring your own food. Really like this place. A bunch.

A not so hidden treasure in the heart of Rome. Think about it like this. Your best friend has a patio with and a fenced in yard with fire pits and such, on a river bank. You can bring your dog, get an IPA, sit back, and relax and enjoy live music by local musicians, and the company of really laid back and cool people. Worth going and checking out.

This place is FUN if you are in Rome for the night and want something incredibly relaxing to do. There is cornhole, tons of games and a ridiculously large beer selection! Try the Scofflaw Mimosa hard seltzer – you won’t regret it.
