I have been to Cosimo’s three times within the last year and it just keeps getting better and better! The service is great and food is consistently good. Everything is cooked to perfection and they can specialize/adjust whenever you need. I love all of their flatbreads and appetizers, they are by far my favorite items on the menu! They also have great salads that come in large portions (and the portions are large for most of the meals!) One of the best restaurants in Poughkeepsie by far!

It’s still early in the evening, Piper our hostess/ dinner assistant, is very helpful, informative, not to mention ,and excellent representative for the restaurant but humans in general, steered us in the right direction for our first time here…it will be my go-to when in this area…im already planning to bring many friends up here… they have a great wine list, the bread is fresh, and comfortable surroundings make me thankful we chose this place….you will not be disappointed … thanks to the management (Tim) and cook (Angel) and the rest of the staff for a lovely evening I wish we had 8 to 10 people here so I can try a litte of everything

This is the first time I went there. The service with Ryan was awesome! They had specials and a variety on the menu. The food was fantastic. I also had dessert. The carrot cake was to die for. I will be going back to Cosmos and recommending the restaurant to my friends and coworkers.

This is the second time we went there in three weeks. The first time they put us in the to the right it was freezing in there air-conditioning blowing on you. They have no heat. They said there’s heaters in there. we asked to move the waiter and the hostess gave us such an attitude. We ended up eating at the bar. Today we went back thinking maybe it was just a bad night for everyone . I made a reservation weeks ago for the dining room. They put us in the bar room. We were told this is the dining room very rude they gave our reservation away to someone else. So they put us back in the freezing room again. I will not be returning to this place. There’s plenty of orher good restaurants in Dutchess County. You don’t need to be aggravated spending that kind of money.

What a wonderful experience. A professionally managed and staffed restaurant. Before we sat, two bread baskets were on the table, dipping dishes of oil and balsamic vinegar for the bread, water carafe and menus waiting for the seven of us. This was a Sunday night at 6:15 and the place was packed with customers. Matt P. , our waiter was attentive, anticipated what we would want, he helped make the dining experience enjoyable. The food portions were ample and reasonably priced. Some in our party ordered various kinds of pizza; the crust was reminiscent of what we ate in Italy; lovely. I had the pasta butera, great; others had the chicken parm and lastly the sausage fennel and pasta. The noise level was on the high side but we didn’t have too much trouble hearing each other. The desserts were very good (cannoli, flourless chocolate cake, tartoufo, chocolate lava cake and a root beer float) were all very good. If the tip was calculated at the typical 20% of the pretax total or double the tax, it would be too low to show how much we appreciated Matt P.

We came last hour and were sat, served, and got our food so fast. The restaurant looked pretty, was clean, and wasn’t loud, as opposed to some other places in this area. The food was amazing, and delicious, came out hot, and we didn’t have to wait long. Granted we did show up late and they probably wanted us out, but the server and staff were very friendly and made sure to stop by. We got the calamari which was more than enough for 2, and could honestly satisfy a small family for a starter. Also amazing and very fresh. After our dinner we got a tiramisu, which also was fresh and great.
