Ordered the breaded tenderloin and onion rings.
Their onion rings are thick cut and covered in honey. The batter tastes like a funnel cake. I definitely recommend them.
The breaded tenderloin was just as good. Breading was nice and crunchy. Perfectly cooked and thick. Everything tasted fresh as if they ran across the street to the Hy-Vee right before cooking our order.

A few food items unavailable, no waffles when the special is chicken and waffles? But it’s new and I’ll give them a pass. The patty melt is pretty good and the potato salad is not from a distributor. They have real potential.

I’ve ordered take-out from here twice, and ate in once. Have never had a bad meal from there. The smoked chicken salad is HUGE. Food was very tasty, people are friendly and they sincerely want to please their customers. Will eat here again.

My entire family visited the cafe one evening. We showed up just before they were closing but we’re happy to serve us anyway. The food was delicious with some unique touches of flavor. We were very impressed with the food and service.

Just tried this place for the first time this evening! Excellent food from scratch! Neatly decorated!! Owner is also the cook and he and the waitress were very friendly!! Highly recommend!! Definitely will go back again
