Can’t get enough of the authentic, freshly prepared Colombian cooking. The ladies who run this warm and cozy place serve up delicious breakfast specials, all with arepas and Mexican cheese. Their Mini Paisa has a little bit of all the Colombian specials including beef, fried pork, avocado, rice n’beans. Seafood dishes like Shrimp Scampi, ceviche, fried parga, and the yummy bowl of cazuela de mariscos are matched by the platter of fried parga (a red snapper) drenched in a tomato crema. My husband loves their chili with beef and beans, chicken chaufa (fried rice) and grilled meats. Fresh yuca fries, tostones, maduros and a rich garlic sauce add to the rich flavors.

This place is the best. There is only 1 thing , That when you come out the smell of food its on your cloth. I think they need to install a better exhaust system and make it odor proof between the kitchen and dinning area. I would go everyday but its hard coming out smelling like food.

Yesterday I ordered chuleta empanizada de cerdo with rice and tostones for my mother and a pechuga empanizada with salad and maduras for myself. Needless to say, when we received the order both the chuleta and pechuga were not fully cooked and the sides weren’t even what I ordered! I called to speak to a manager and was told that he wouldn’t be in until the afternoon and the girl that I was speaking with didn’t offer a resolution. I through both orders away. This place should be embarrassed of what they are charging for what they are serving. I paid over &20/order! I have fought the charge with my bank. Disgusting food and customer service. I will never order from here again.

The food was awful and I was really disappointed. The steak was dry, over-cooked, and needed flavor. The rice was decent. The arepa was dry and stale and cheese needed salt. I ordered the bunuelo but instead they gave me a croissant, I wish they would’ve called me and told me they don’t have bunuelos anymore, I would’ve preferred to take it off the order than receive the croissant. The flan was the worst flan I ever had in my life. I was shocked they actually served it to me. It looked and tasted like it was at least 1 week old.

I had their lunch special today. It consisted of a bowl of chicken soup which was excellent. White rice, fried Chicken (3pieces), sweet plantains and the salad that was mixed with coleslaw. It also included a soda. Everything came out to $8.50 including tax. It was all great. I will definitely return.

Went during lunch time. Was able to eat and be out within the hour. Service was great and fast. The food had an authentic home meal taste. Brought back memories. Portions are great for the price. Only thing I would of liked was homemade empanadas instead of the frozen kind. Would go again.

The service here is awesome. The food used to be fabulous. IDK if they had a bad day or what, but the meats arepas AND the ripe plantains were tough and burnt! How do you make ripe plantains tough? I’ve eaten here many, many times, and this was the first time that it wasn’t even mediocre. It seemed as if they put EVERYTHING (except the beans and rice) on a grill on super high flames just to not attend the food.
Horrible!

Great taste and amazing service. Correita (the owner) is a really nice guy. Whether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is always good and the staff always welcomes you with a smile. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat Colombian food. I’m Colombian and live in Paterson, right around now, this spot has the best empanadas. I get them often and only 1 time they disappointed and just filled them with potatoes, but other than that they have had a nice balance of meat and potatoes! Enjoy! Call ahead and they will be freshly fried for pick up.
