I ordered Mongolian beef and Pad See ew dishes and they were good. Will be back here to try more.

A note: spiciness level is 1 to 10.
I picked level 3 and boy was I glad I did. At 3 it was a prefect hot but I can only imagine if I asked for 5. It would’ve been way too hot.

The service was great.
I made a wrong order, didn’t much like the noodles (I don’t usually like noodles). I’ll choose something else next time.
The gyoza was good.

Clean place.
Outdoor seating.
Fair prices.

Super tasty thai spot. The staff is beer attentive and there are a lot of regulars. The mussels and steak salad are perfect for a healthy lunch.

Corner Thai is honestly one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in San Diego. The food tastes authentic, fresh, and full of real Thai flavors — not watered down like other places. Every dish feels like it was cooked with care, from the seasoning to the ingredients.

The staff is also incredibly warm and friendly. You can tell the people working here are genuinely Thai, which makes the whole experience feel even more authentic. They’re kind, welcoming, and make you feel like you’re eating at a family friend’s house.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving real, fresh Thai food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything is perfect! Papaya salad is so fresh but make sure don’t ask too spicy because it’s hot. My is level 7 of spicy it’s much more spicy than hunan restaurant, if you know what I meant to say.

I came here for lunch. I had the drunken noodle with chicken and fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. The drunken noodle was really flavorful and fresh. The fresh spring rolls with the peanut sauce was a really nice touch. The peanut sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had. The waiter was really nice and on top of what we needed. The inside is really clean and the seating is just right. I would highly recommend you come check this place out. I will be back again thank you for taking care of me

Corner Thai took over the previous Thai establishment and I actually like this place better. Their menu is huge! Mainly Thai dishes with a mix of Lao, Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. We came for dinner and a few days later came for lunch during 11-3pm. They also have happy hour from 3:30-6. Has patio seating and 6 tables inside.

We’ve ordered:
-curry puffs
-mixed tempura
-orange chicken
-pad Thai (spice level 5)
-crab fried rice (spice level 7)
-Panang curry
-garlic wings
-beef pad see ew lunch (spice level 7)
-combo drunken noodles lunch (level 7)

Pad Thai and crab fried rice are always our go to when it’s our first time dining. Both dishes had great flavors but too wet, almost soggy. Great crab portions. We took it home and dried it out a bit and it tasted excellent.

The lunch special came with a side of soup of the day, salad, egg roll and cream cheese wonton. Great portions.

Overall, Corner Thai was decent except the wings had a smell to it like freezer burn fried in oil. The flavor and texture also lacking.

Spice level 7 seems to be the right mark for me giving that kick at the end where you could still taste the flavors.

Ordered takeout from Corner Thai Kitchen and loved it! We had the crab fried rice with the pad see ew with mock duck and it was perfect. Nice portion sizes that are sure to leave you stuffed. The staff was very friendly and didn’t need to wait long for my order. They have an outdoor patio as well that is dog friendly. Recommend if you’re looking for some great Thai food!

Great restaurant to get Thai food. We like their Drunken noodles, Green curry, and garlic chicken. The beef salad also has good flavors but the beef pieces are a little too big. Overall, the portion size is excellent. Very good service from friendly staff. We didn’t have any problems finding parking. I definitely recommend this place.

Would definitely eat here again!
We had the sampler appetizer and everything was great. The food arrived hot and looked as great as it tasted. Large portions and perfect spice level. The Thai iced teas were huge. I’ll order a small next time. Well worth it, thank you.

This is a great place to grab a quick and tasty dinner. Did I mention they are quick too. (Oops, I Spoke too soon, Edited after 4th visit , this time was a super long wait for anything. Took 20 min just to get water, coming in at 7pm on a Wednesday, another 10 min for other drinks and 5 more min to take our order. They took a few to-go orders at the register from people walking in after we were seated, before taking our order so I subtracted 2 stars. Not cool. )

Original review:
The staff are super pleasant and accommodating, even though they got my Togo order a bit wrong (lost a star ), it was still worth it and close enough. Their menu has a good variety so I try different things when I return. Try the mango sticky rice if you enjoy sweets. I love it. I didn’t take pictures of my food this time but I ordered mango fried rice with chicken, but got mango chicken stir fry with a lot of bell peppers and white steamed rice. Oh well. I’ll look next time before heading out. Try them out. I hope you’ll like this place. I do.
