We are a fast/casual chinese restaurant, bringing the most popular dishes from 20 years of running the Happy Family Restaurant. From 2000-2013 in Battle Ground WA, and 2009-2019 in Vancouver. I addition, we are offering popular non-chinese dishes that we had on the menu, as well as latin-chinese fusion creations.

This small mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem if you’re looking for fresh food and friendly service. The dining area is modest, with around 10 tables, but it’s clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming neighborhood feel. The young man who took our order was polite, patient, and very attentive, checking in to make sure everything was going well without being intrusive.
The food was prepared fresh and had great flavor. Everything tasted hot and well-seasoned, not greasy, and clearly made with care. Portion sizes were decent and filling, especially considering the very reasonable prices. Some of the entrees include your choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup. They even have a small lunch special menu that includes an appetizer, an entree, and white rice or pork fried rice. You definitely get good value for what you pay here. We tried the salmon puffs and they were so delicious! Will definitely be back again for those!
While it’s not a large or upscale restaurant, the combination of tasty food, fair pricing, and genuinely kind service makes this a place worth coming back to. A solid 4-star spot for casual dining and takeout alike.

Absolutely the best food! The crab puffs/salad/egg flower soup amazing! Got the pong pong chicken, cooked perfectly with great flavor. Definitely on my top food restaurants now, will be back. Also the customer service was great, very inviting people.

After reading the good reviews on Corner of Tastes, we decided to give it a try. Apparently it has been in operation since 2022 and we didn’t know it existed. Except for someone coming in for a togo order, we were the only ones in the restaurant at lunchtime. We tried the lunch menu for $13.00. There are a lot of options. It includes egg drop or hot and sour soup, an appetizer, entree and fried or regular rice. Our entrees were pong pong chicken and garlic chicken. I had the crab puffs and my husband had the barbecue pork. We both had fried rice. Both the pong pong and the garlic chicken were very good. The only minor criticism might be the chicken was a tad overdone. The barbecue pork was moist and the crab puffs were good.
We were impressed with the quantity and quality of the food for a very reasonable price.

First time coming here with my family. The food came out hot and in the amount of time that they stayed (<15 minutes).
The kids menu is fun. Pick 2 from a list. However, our kids didn’t each very much of it. Each kids meal does come with one of those Krazy Kritter drinks. So that was a plus.
Crab puffs for an appetizer were good. Very crispy and good, gooey cheesy filling.
Wife had orange chicken with fried rice and I had Szechwan chicken with white rice. The orange chicken sauce was nice. Not too thick and good amounts of actual orange flavor. The Szechwan sauce was marked as spicy, but it was lacking much spice.
All in all, it was fine.

Very casual atmosphere. I liked their selections, they had a good variety of appetizers, rice dishes, noodle dishes and different chicken dishes. They also had some seafood on the menu and several different kinds of soup. It was my first time eating here, I will definitely go again!

Enjoyed a late afternoon lunch here today. The food was delicious, service was friendly, atmosphere is classy & casual. I had the Pong Pong chicken and a side of stir fried vegetables. My partner had a chicken noodle dish and we shared a pot of green tea. It’s the best Chinese food I’ve had in years and a new favorite restaurant for us. Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Our meals came with soup, choices are hot and sour and egg flower. Looking forward to coming back.

Love, love, love Corner of Tastes! I’ve yet to have anything that hasn’t been incredible. My favorite might be the ping pong chicken, but I’m still working my way through the menu and enjoying every moment. The people here are wonderful, kind and considerate. They offer free soup while you wait.

Delicious food and friendly service! Recently got the Pong Pong chicken and Sesame chicken to-go. Both were super tasty, with the perfect level of crispiness to the breading. They’re lighter with sauce than some other places but the flavor is great and the portion sizes are enough to split in two. The guys at the counter were super friendly as well. We’ll be back!

This place is slept on. I would dare say this is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Everything that came to our table was fantastic. I would recommend starting with the pot stickers, crab puffs, and coconut shrimp appetizers, they were cooked in a way I had not seen or enjoyed before, absolutely delicious. The soup was just as good, and the two plates of pong pong and orange chicken, were cooked to perfection. The pieces of chicken weren’t skimpy at all. Every plate was worth the price. The restaurant it’s self is kind of small, with I want to say about 8 to 10 tables, and very clean. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. The food didn’t leave me feeling heavy or bogged down, and no congested phlegmy feeling when I was done eating. My wife and I will definitely be coming back.

Why is there a line at the fast food panda and not one out the doors of Corner of Tastes?! The food was excellent, the service exceptional and the pricing reasonable. I didn’t even take a photo of the hot and sour soup because it was inhaled. The bbq pork is tender. The ping pong wings will be on our orders in the future. The pineapple fried rice had a mellow curry flavor that compliments the sweet pineapple perfectly. We are full, have take away for tomorrow and can’t wait to tell our friends to check this place out.
