Corner Kitchen has been a special dining location for my family for years. The staff is always incredibly personable, friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is outstanding. The dishes are delicious. There is a focus on working with local vendors. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. There are 2 levels of dining space and a cute outdoor area. Make sure to visit the restroom where some snarky signs are sure to make you smile!

When Hurricane Helene hit, Biltmore Village (where Corner Kitchen resides) was heavily business. Sadly, there are several businesses who haven’t reopened and many who never will. Being an lifelong Asheville resident, seeing the damage brought by the storm and flooding has been heartbreaking. I was so excited to see Corner Kitchen opened back

I highly recommend dining at Corner Kitchen. The menu has a great mix of sweet and savory. The brunch items are our favorites! Make sure to get a biscuit and jam no matter what you order!

I went to Corner Kitchen on Christmas Eve to celebrate after going a few times before Hurricane Helene, and it felt great to walk back in and see the place buzzing again.

The space is warm and inviting, with a patio outside for nice weather, and even without a reservation, we were seated immediately at the bar for brunch, which made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming.

We started with the Merry Old Fashioned cocktails, which were the perfect way to kick off brunch. Greg took great care of us, was fun to chat with, and made the whole meal even better.

I have to say that their burgers have always been excellent, but they are even better now with the Wagyu meat. It’s one of the best in Asheville, and I ordered mine medium, which came out perfectly juicy and flavorful.

It was a bit surreal to see the small sign near the stairs marking how high the water line had risen during the storm. Seeing what they went through and bounced back from makes me proud to be in a city with such resilient residents and business owners.

I’m happy to see Corner Kitchen back and better than ever. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend it to both locals and visitors alike!

This was our first visit to Corner Kitchen, but the manager and hostess made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, giving a great table in a small area in front of the kitchen where we could watch plates being prepped. I started with the Chengazi oysters (think Chinese orange chicken but with fried oysters!), which were absolutely wonderful, while my wife had a great mushroom Wellington. For our main course, we had the halibut special, with me choosing the normal preparation with a panko crab crust, and my wife opting for a simpler sear with herbs. Both were excellent and paired with with our bottle of Gavi di Gavi. We ended our meal with creme brûlée of the day, in this case Grand Marnier. Overall service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We’ll definitely return on our next visit to Asheville.

We are so thrilled to see them them back up and flourishing after Helene! The last time we dined here was for Father’s Day 2024 with my husband and our children. On this day, however, we did not have a reservation and it was around 2 pm. Luckily, Olivia, with her bright smile and kindness, was able to seat us about 5 minutes later. We sat outside at Josh’s table, right next to the kitchen’s back door, I believe. Luckily, the staff wasn’t too bad, but we did here an occasional F bomb drop. Iit was near their closing time between 2:30 and 5 and it was fine. We ordered the tater tots with pimento cheese to start. They were the expected greasy, crunchy, and tasty that we expected.. The remoulade that accompanied them was yummy! My husband ordered the reuben with extra crispy fries. He said the sandwich was okay and wished there was more meat to it. The fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered the burger with a side of the feta potato salad. The burger was cooked too a perfect medium rare and was a great burger. The potato salad needed a touch more seasoning so I added salt and pepper and then it was real good. Josh was a terrific server as well…he was attentive, knowledgeable, and didn’t make us feel rushed even though it was getting too be their closing time.

Great place. We had the chicken and waffles as well as 2 orders or waygu cheeseburgers. Im not a huge waffle fan,but they were great-doughy and sweet tasting. Please note, picture doesnt do the chicken and gravy justice.

What a cute, warm little restaurant! This area was hit really hard a year ago by the hurricane and they are all struggling to rebuild. Many places in this village area have not reopened. We stopped in here for breakfast before our Biltmore Estate tour. So happy we did! Our server was great, our food was good and we felt warm and cozy and seen. I hope these businesses are able to bounce back eventually because this was a nice place and a nice area. Go to the Corner Kitchen and give them some business! The coffee was good and the Bloody Mary was great. My biscuits and gravy were just what I wanted on a cold, rainy day! Corner Kitchen. Go. Eat. Enjoy! Oh!! And look for the picture with the little placard on the wall that says This High. That’s how high the waters rose during the hurricane in 2024.

What a fantastic little restaurant, hard to believe a year ago it was underwater. A friend suggested this little place, and its the only place open in this little neighborhood that was flooded over 20 feet a years ago. what a comeback.
Beautiful inside with a great little bar as you walk in the door, dining upstairs, at the bar, outside and a beautiful dining room.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar is stocked with top name brands. The menu is small and manageable , I had the crab cakes and they were out of this world. I live on and island 32 miles out in the North Atlantic Ocean and no one on the New England Island make crab cakes like the Corner Kitchen.
I also came back for Brunch on a Sunday, it was crowded but the wait was quick. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the cheddar grits were delicious.

Great, in every way. Greeted plesantly. Seated Quickly. Attended to quickly. The Server knew every detail on the menu and was eager to recommend tastefully. Quality, superior.
After a few days of wonderful dinning in the foodie capital of North Carolina, Ashville, we had saved the best for last. Five people and four different selections we all agreed each dish was the best we had ever been served.
If Brunch can be this good, imagine what a fine dinner will be. We all plan to eagerly return to the “Corner Kitchen” for dinner.

Corner Kitchen is truly one of Asheville’s gems. Housed in a beautiful 120-year-old home in historic Biltmore Village, this restaurant has been a staple since 2004 — and with good reason. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the Southern-inspired menu never disappoints.

Favorites like the Chicken & Waffles (with egg and gravy), Corned Beef Hash, and French Toast are the kind of dishes that keep you coming back. Don’t miss the Bacon Cheddar Tots — crispy, indulgent, and packed with flavor. From breakfast to brunch, lunch to dinner, everything here is crafted with care.

After their temporary closure, it’s wonderful to see Corner Kitchen open again and thriving. They’re not just serving food — they’re helping bring energy and spirit back to Biltmore Village. Highly recommend making a reservation and enjoying one of Asheville’s most iconic dining experiences.
