This is a cute ice cream shop that does have a few options for those who can’t eat dairy (like me). Otherwise, this is a great place for everyone else who CAN eat dairy! LOL They also sell bottled water (putting that here just in case someone needs water while walking around YS in the heat or during a festival). The staff was friendly and service was fast.
My reason for the lower star rating was the state of the patio. Their patio could be improved (see my last picture): 1) add more umbrellas & shade coverings (see red areas), 2) pick up litter strewn around, 3) pull weeds and trim hedges. A cute patio that is inviting would bring in more business, which means more money! Think of it like this: use the money from the next 20 to 30 people in line to only go towards improving the patio. That money would be made quickly here, especially on a hot day. That plus a little elbow grease, which can be free, would make this patio better.

Amazing soft serve and amazing service. The staff was very helpful, and went above and beyond. I got cookie dough topping, and was blown away by them putting some in the bottom of the cone! If I ever find myself back in Yellow Springs, I will undoubtedly be stopping by again!

This was the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Hands down the best thing about this town! They have a really cool seating area on both sides of the restaurant. They have these really cool vines that have grown up and over making nice cool shade for the seating areas! They also had very nice employees working! And they have both lemon dole and pineapple dole whips!
I also saw that they are going to be serving vegan hot dogs soon if that is something you look for at restaurants.

Cute and affordable. Treated my kids to delicious ice cream after hiking. The portions are large and we enjoyed sitting at the picnic table.

Nice place to go after walking the town or a hike. Ice cream is good. Outdoor seating area is great. Staff are young, disinterested, and could not answer a question. Prices a little high.

Vegan soft serve was down. Update: tried the vegan “soft serve” and it was not good at all. It tasted like barely flavored ice to me. Take your money and go buy a vegan pint of ice cream at the grocery store instead.

they where out of the go to flavors so we tried some kind of berry the flavor didn’t fuse well it was in a word gross and way to soft. The kids were happy with the vanilla We got a table it would have been nice if it wasn’t so nasty spilled ice creme everywhere and hornets flying all over. Its a hot mess
