Fantastic local spot for lunch! Well worth the few minutes drive from I-70 past all of the chain restaurants to find this great local restaurant. Staff is exactly what you would expect from a locally owned restaurant – very friendly! Service, food and ambience is great. I highly recommend and would definitely return if I’m in the area again. Manhattan Roast Beef and Chicken Noodle Soup are musts!

Cute little café located in a senior center. The prices are excellent for small mom and pop Cafe. We ordered the tenderloin and it came with 2 sides and a drink for $11.50.

I decided to try it, because I heard about the background of the people who work there, a good location, I had tried one of their brownies when I got my hair done at my salon, and it’s local, and we need to support local businesses. I had their fried chicken meal, and it was great. I plan to get back sometime.
UPDATE:. November 8, 2022-I got some sad news about this place. According to Instagram, they will be closing on December 30th. I have been so busy I haven’t had a chance to go back and try more food and get more pictures. I was looking forward to it.
UPDATE:. December 9, 2022-Great news! According to Instagram, they are going to be staying open into next year and for many years to come. I want to have their fried chicken again and get some more pictures of their food.
UPDATE:. April 19, 2023-I finally was able to come back today! The entree of the day was Stuffed Chicken Breast, so I ordered that, along with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Fresh Fruit, and Coke Zero. It was just as delicious as the first time I was here! I plan to come back and try more of their food!

Thank you Corner Cafe At The Leland. We had take out today. The tenderloins, fried cabbage and butter potatoes were delicious. All that we have had there in the past has been delicious. Thanks to all the employees. Doing a wonderful job at the Cafe.

Nice cozy place with good coffee and tasty food. The staff are all very friendly people. What’s more, in the adjoining lobby of the old hotel, there’s a grand piano where my Mom enjoyed a an impromptu serenade to her!

Home cooked food for less than fast food. Can get an entree, two sides, and a drink for ten bucks. They have daily specials, and can’t beat their manhattans. Staff is extremely friendly and personal. Def worth checking out.
