My wife grew up here as the only daughter of The Boe family… Ken and Sue…. If I have been here before 27 years ago the town has not changed much and is still as charming as it was then the ghosts of history passed and those that have brought this town into existence are just amazing to me… I love this opportunity and the uniqueness of the experience, the folklore and the real life sharing of the community.

It’s a small bar but nice one. They have a good food selection that taste good as well. You can play darts or pool in the back as long as they are not to busy. They have several TV’s so can always find a game or show to watch. Service has always been good when I have gone in. It’s a little out dated but it’s a all around nice place.

Definitely a decent stop for dinner on a motorcycle ride or tour of Polk County. Lunch specials are usually pretty good and prices are very fair. Small town vibe in a small town -and the only show in town!
