Good food but you have to order at the bar. And it was a full bar. Food took forever. Maybe it was more crowded than the usual. It was a stop for us during a road trip.
The good news was that the food was really good. Hot. I’d recommend but it’s not for everyone

This is a reasonably priced place to eat in Hopkinton. They offer your basic fare of burgers great pizzas and reasonably priced drinks. A group that I work with usually frequents this place they have plenty of parking. The only thing to keep in mind is the only take cash they have a small ATM but no credit cards.

At first blush, the outside is warm and inviting, with a nice bright exterior and hanging flower baskets. The flowers were fake upon closer inspection, and this should have clued me in they are more concerned about customer service than appearances. The interior is dark but charming. It’s clear this place is for locals to booze and play keno. Service was done through the bar, with signs on every table declaring ‘No table service’. Because the bartender was busy, we weren’t greeted upon entering. Because they change weekly, menus are printed off pieces of paper. We left without ordering, as I realized I had no cash and they don’t take credit cards. I also didn’t want to use the ATM. Although, hearing of other’s experience with food poisoning we saw no evidence of this. It sounds like we made the wrong choice to leave.

At first blush, the outside looks warm and inviting, with a nice bright exterior and hanging flower baskets. The flowers were fake upon closer inspection, and this should have clued me in. The interior by contrast is dark, dank and charmless. It’s clear this place is for locals to booze and play keno. Service was non-existent, with signs on every table declaring ‘No table service’ and we weren’t even greeted upon entering. Menus are cheap printed off pieces of paper that we had to discover ourselves on a rack on the wall. We left without ordering, as when we finally were acknowledged rather perfunctorily, we found they don’t accept cards, which is another huge red flag. Hearing of other’s experience with food poisoning, it sounds like we made the right choice.

Came here for birthday lunch with my husband, we got the steaktips, steak and cheese panini, fried green beans and the French onion soup, steak tips were marinated and cooked perfect med well, good portions on everything, fried green beans were great! Bartenders were friendly and efficient, the back patio is like a cute little event space, great use of that area. shots are pretty small but over all great place!

I’m a regular at Cornells and have never had any complaints. Recently tho the last couple months the food has been horrible. Food has been coming under cooked or overcooked. Food has also been taking way longer than it should even when it’s not busy. The kitchen staff has also been coming out and taking shots or have been taking a bottle in the back drinking. They are also allowing customers to go into the kitchen and doing who knows what back there. One of the bartenders is amazing. She is always on top of everyone’s drinks and orders. She also takes the blunt from the customers for the food issues from the kitchen. The other bartender that’s there is also usually drunk while working the bar and will usually disappear into the kitchen with the kitchen staff and/or customers. It’s sad to see because myself and my group of friends enjoy going there but it’s to the point it’s not worth our time or money in the fact the potential of getting sick from the under cooked food

This seems to be a fun spot as a local watering hole. We stopped for dinner after a youth sports game, we ate indoors – they do have a patio.
If you need a quiet place to dine, this isn’t the place but by no means is it bad. Just nice locals unwinding.
Food was great overall, I reserved the 5th star for more tastings – I’d go back. No table service, one orders from the bar after looking at the menu and then the food is brought to you. Cash only, ATM on the premises.

It’s a quirky place, but definitely worth the visit if you don’t need solitude or full service!
