We visited tonight hoping to enjoy a nice dinner out as a family. As a family of five, we knew it would be a bit of a splurge for us, but we were looking forward to the experience.

My husband and I both ordered the 8 oz ribeye steaks, mine medium rare and his medium. Unfortunately, the steaks that were served were extremely thin, almost fajita-style cuts, and both were far beyond overcooked. Even our waitress acknowledged that they were overdone. I chose to send mine back and did not request a remake because, given how thin the cut was, I didn’t believe it would be possible to achieve a proper medium rare with a pink center. My husband attempted to eat his but ultimately found it too chewy.

Both entrees were eventually removed from our bill, which was presented as a favor, though I found that a bit surprising considering mine had been returned immediately (and was missing items) and my husband’s plate remained largely untouched.

Up until the issue with the steaks, our service had actually been very attentive. However, after that point the level of service noticeably declined. We allowed our kids to finish their meals, paid the remaining balance, and decided to leave.

Before leaving, I politely asked the hostess if I could speak with a manager. My intention wasn’t to escalate a complaint but simply to share feedback about our experience as first-time customers. I was told that the waitress was the manager (although she had mentioned earlier that she spoke to a manager to have the meals removed) and that the assistant waitress was “Corky Belly’s granddaughter,” which I wasn’t sure how that related to my request to speak with management.

Overall, we left disappointed, as we had been excited to try this restaurant and hoped for a better first experience.

Great stop for fresh delicious seafood. I had an appetizer combo and the Corky’s Cod Bites, all was delicious and perfectly prepared, and priced well. Nice portions too. Madison was the ideal waitress, checking in regularly but not in-your-face and very nice.

Came here for lunch with no reservation. The parking lot was full and there was a family ahead of us. The family ahead of us were seated quickly. The hostess asked who’s next and seated us quickly and it was a pretty full house. Sylvia took our order and she did great in letting us know the delay we faced was because of loss of point of sale system mid shift and offer us free dessert( which was so yummy) to make up for it. She Kept a smile on her face and kept things flowing . I got the shrimp and scallops bae got fish stuffed with crab. The food came out hot warm and yummy. I will say not to make it things about color but being the only black people in the place we were happy to say we were welcomed warmly by all. All smiles great service and good energy. Reasonable prices. Would return.

Corky Bells Seafood & Steaks is a hidden gem for seafood lovers!

We had an excellent meal with a variety of delicious dishes. The flounder and chips were crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked—classic comfort food done right. The coleslaw made a great, refreshing side.

The grilled shrimp and pineapple skewers were full of flavor and grilled to perfection—light, savory, and just the right touch of sweetness from the pineapple. The cheese grits on the side were rich, creamy, and seriously satisfying—southern comfort at its best.

The portions were generous, the flavors were spot-on, and the overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Lots of great food in a welcoming atmosphere—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Got the special of the day. Cobia and shrimp. I got the cobia grilled, and it was a little bit overdone. The shrimp I ordered blackened, and it was spectacular. I upgraded to a loaded, baked potato, however, it was not what I would consider to be a loaded baked potato. Hush puppies were really good. Overall, I would eat there again.

The food here is delicious!! Our daughter and son-in-law and grown granddaughters were visiting us. We chose to go out to dinner here. The 7 of us had a wonderful time! The dood was outstanding and the waitress was super!! She took great care of us. We had different items to eat. Ribeyes, sea scallops, shrimp, salmon patties, fried mushrooms, and more. Everything was delicious!! My husband and I will definitely be back as we live close. Thank you so much for providing an excellent time and dinner!!

My sister and I went for lunch on a Saturday around 11:45. Service was great. We both ordered catfish fillet with fries and slaw. Everything was delicious! Nothing was cold and the sweet tea was perfect. I will not go to the one in East Palatka again. I will make the 40 minute drive.

Went to this place with my grandparents. The hostess seemed kind but distantz I did have an excellent server. I didn’t catch her name, but she was very kind and caring and helped my grandmother out when her food was not right. I got the half rack of baby back ribs with blackened shrimp. It was phenomenal. My grandparents both got fried shrimp and also loved it. If you want a great time with an excellent atmosphere and amazing food, you should definitely check out Corky Bell’s!

Shrimp was good but Alfredo was not, the cheese was oily and hard and for 16$ it was not worth it. Good view though

Wonderful place with nice dining room and decor. The lunch was a great value for 10.99 I had flounder hush puppies (3!) and fries (tiny portion). I got the fish blackened and it was still pretty flavorless without much spice at all. Wife loved loved the grits.
