Coquito will be closed for vacation this week Jan. 1st-Jan. 6th, 2023 and will re-open Jan. 7th for dinner service at 4pm. Coquito is the premier destination in the Hudson Valley for purely authentic Latin-American cuisine. Coquito tastefully blends two concepts into one – fine dining and a stylish nightlife experience. Located in Warwick, New York, Coquito serves all of Puerto Rico’s traditional favorites. Some of our signature items include Pernil, Paella, Mofongo, Pasteles, Empanadas and Churrasco. We also offer a Latin twist on American staples such burgers and sandwiches, as well as surf and turf, chicken, steak and seafood dishes, with a variety of extraordinary salads and many more culinary delights sure to satisfy any palate.

The food is amazing. I love the Steak & Shrimp dish “churassco y camerones” So flavorful and tender. The drinks are also so delicious and there’s so many choices. I highly recommend. The atmosphere is also great.

This was a fabulous experience. We visited on Saturday, at opening time. We ordered the chorizos in coconut sauce which were delicious and just a bit spicy. The entrées were a pork mofongo and a shrimp mofongo. I am Puertorrican and I can tell you these flavors were authentic and delicious. You must try their guava martini, it’s perfect!

The quality of the food has diminished. This was our go to restaurant in Warwick for mofongo, but this visit it was bland flavorless. We have noticed that since the restaurant changed owners, several years ago, the food seems to gradually become less authentic tasting. Our waitress was excellent. Attentive and cordial. Don’t go through sticker shock. Lunch for two, two empanadas, two entrees, and two soft drinks rang up at a cool $70 dollars. Not sure we will be back.

Coquito catered the food last Saturday for my husband’s 80th birthday party. Everything was delicious and our guests really enjoyed it. The peril was very tasty and well seasoned and the Coquito shrimp was outstanding. The trays of white and yellow rice were heaped full and perfectly cooked and the Maduros were sweet and well caramelized. I spoke with Zorica and she made ordering very easy. I can’t thank her and the chefs enough for helping to make our party a success!
