Amazing food and even better service!
The food at Coquí Café was excellent, but the service truly stood out. The staff helped me choose what to order and even helped me pronounce the names, which made the experience welcoming and stress-free. I had the empanadillas, pionono, pizza, and carne everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Best pastries, sandwichs, and juices we’ve ever had! Cubano sandwich was full of flavor with perfectly cooked meat. The doughnuts and Nutella pastries were so light and fluffy and had the right amount of sweetness. 10/10 would recommend

The service & atmosphere are very nice but the food was just ok in my opinion. The Cubano was ok I feel like it lacked flavor. The Tripleta Empanadilla was good. They had Guave Cheesecakw listed which is what we chose and it was like angel food cake not cheesecake.

Horrible service, stall bread on Saturday afternoon. And there sandwich the tripleta was Nasty. I’ll rather drive to Downtown Killeen to pick up a Tripleta at Puerto Rican store. Bread not toasted super sweet couldn’t eat it. Wasted $12. Wrapped in aluminum then the sandwich wrap which made it even soggier. Never going back.

The pancakes that comes with the breakfast plate is okay. But the sausages were dried. The ratio as far as hash browns and eggs and sausage were way off. They served so much hash brown and so little eggs. The toast is great.

I WISH I COULD GIVE 100 STARS! This place is amazing, this food is from our culture so it’s honestly like home! Me and my family come here once or twice a week to get like, 10 empanadas. Thank you Coqui cafe for serving the best food we have ever tasted!

It’s a cute place, fun decor and relaxed look. The only thing was the super loud fan, I know it was keep the place cool feel nice, but it was so loud I couldn’t hear the person I was with. The food looked amazing! We got pancakes and waffles with a lemonade and water. The only thing was that they were thick and hard to chew. It doesn’t help that the person I was with had a broken finger. Just watching them try and go through it looked miserable. The lemonade was okay, a bit too sour for my tastes. I think my biggest issue was the wait. It was an almost 20 minute wait for our small order as others who came after us were getting served. I’m not super picky, I mean, I had no where to go afterward. It was just a bit odd. We did get an apology for the wait, which was much appreciated. However, it still made the person with me a bit annoyed. That was our experience. I work in a bakery so I know waits can sometimes be odd and stuff gets misplaced. All in all, it was fairly okay.

I had ordered the carnitas plate w the rice & tostones to go. I would have given 0 stars. The carnitas were raw, the rice super cold, dry and hard. I would love f management to contact me because for me, this was a disgrace and really disappointed
