In the winter, The Coppertop Bar & Restaurant is THE spot for apres’ all day in Breckenridge. With a ski-in, ski-out prime location at the base of Peak 9, the views are some of the best in Breck. Coppertop is open for lunch and through apres’ ski every day in the winter. In the summer, Coppertop is available for private events and meetings. Located on the 3rd floor of the Beaver Run main building. Just one level up from the Peak 9 mountain plaza.

They have cold beer and a captive audience.
I like to take long pauses while skiing, preferably with a beer. I’ve been doing both at Coppertop for several seasons along with the various mountain houses.
The beer list is pretty good and the hot cocktails too. Their burger is quite good – the fries are okay. We have tried other things but they were not memorable.
Service is a bit random. It’s a big open room with no receptionist – you just plop down and wait to be noticed. Staff stops by multiple times within a few minutes and then disappears for long stretches.

I was there with a party of six we had an amazing time!! Had plenary of beers the tellyride tangerine and the mamas Pilsner were my favorite. I got the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms that our server Ugne recommended it was sooo yummy. I was so impressed with how quick our server was considering how busy the restaurant was she gave us the best service we’ve had in Breckenridge all week

Recommend stopping in after a day of riding. Especially if Grace is the bartender she was really kind and knew a lot about riding in the area. She gave us some really great recommendations!

Excellent place to grab a beer and some French fries. Everything else we got was pretty terrible. The turkey pesto wraps had almost no pesto and the lettuce was wet. The spicy coconut ramen wasn’t spicy and the flavor was off. The fries and beer were good and are always the safe bet at a ski resort. The service was good at least and hanging at the bottom of the mountain always makes for good atmosphere. I would go here again, but wouldn’t order anything other than beer and French fries.

Woooowww ! The best of the best when it comes to making a delicious juicy burgerrrr! I’ve had many burgers in my life but this burger is nothing like I ever had in my entire life it’s the best I ever ate, the way it melts in your mouth and the overwhelming flavor and aroma that just fill your taste buds is insane the bacon just perfect and so yummy I cannot believe I finally found a burger that I fell in love with this chef has to be someone special and talented this food was outstanding thank you so much for this experience I will never forget.

We had such a great experience at this bar! The servers were all so friendly! Never had to wait long for food and drink even when it was busy! Special shout out to Grace – she’s the best bartender!!!

A couple of weeks ago I brought my family here after a day of skiing Breck, and I must say this was the most embarrassed I’ve ever felt in a restaurant. It felt like the manager had a mission to make sure we had a terrible time. The manager (a short, chubby guy. I can’t remember his name. Chase? Cameron?) totally called me out in front of my family and spoke to me in the most rude and unprofessional manner. We had a bunch of apps, (the nachos were amazing) but after we requested a modification on one of our apps because my nephew is severely allergic to certain types of mushrooms, the manager laughed at us and told us they don’t make modifications. It felt very demeaning and unwelcoming. My family and I will never be returning. So many better options in Breck.

The “manager” in the purple jacket – Absolutely no people skills. “You guys will need to leave. This table is our biggest table and is not making us money” truly an idiot. Side note, the bartender was amazing. Funny note, this manager came to the bar and disciplined her in front of all that were seated. Not cool.

Slow service, crummy overpriced food. $120 for chili, jalapeño poppers, queso dip and two hot chocolate drinks for the kids. No alcohol even! I know ski resorts are not cheap but this is crazy.
