We ordered the cheese plate with Sardinian flatbread. It was $24 for three dribbles of jam that tasted like the syrups you get from a squeeze bottle and three pieces of cheese. Three cheeses on a cheese plate wouldn’t be terrible if the “accoutrements” it came with were anything more than a couple of raspberries, sad jam, and a few candied pecans. The flatbread was neither bread nor good. It was so thin and not even remotely crisp, so you couldn’t spread any of the cheeses on it. It tasted like it had been left out for weeks and absorbed all of the humidity of the kitchen. We decided to go somewhere else for dinner. I’m really shocked that a creamy brie and two very strong blue cheeses were served without any additional items to help balance out those really strong flavors. Lastly, we were seated at a small lower bistro table that was so wobbly that neither of us could touch it without our waters being sloshed around. The tabletop. Also, spun and I don’t think it was supposed to do that. Getting in and out of the two heavy wingback chairs that were seated at this wobbly table was quite difficult because there really wasn’t room to push them back nor did I have the strength to do so on the surface that the table and chairs were on. I was really looking forward to dining here and I am a bit disappointed.

The food at this lodge was delightful. Would easily give our meal 5 stars. Our server on the other hand wasn’t very good 2 out of 5. Other servers around the restaurant seemed to be attentive and interactive and ours made us feel like she didn’t want to come to our table. It’s disappointing when you plan a nice experience and the server dampens the mood.

Service was good. Drinks were well poured. Food was not good at all. One of the worst chicken sandwiches I’ve had. It ended up being a mix of grilled and fried and full of fatty deposits. Wish I had gone to Wendy’s. Fries were great. Expect to pay appt and get a little. No one at the table enjoyed their food.

I love this little Oasis in Seatac! Great food love the vibe in the restaurant . Easy to travel to and minutes from the Airport. Most if all the bar is well stocked and bartenders know how to make a great cocktail!! Staff is very knowledgeable and kind.

Surprisingly wonderful cozy ambience, service, and food. I had the duck two ways which was great and a rather generous portion too. My wife got the curried mussels which I thought was risky but honestly they were some of the best mussels I’ve ever had, really a world class dish. I’d stay there again (night before early flight) and definitely eat there too-don’t forget to make reservations!

An amazing place to escape and eat delicious food. Atmosphere was excellent, felt cozy and fancy with big windows to the outside forest views. Service was perfect, very professional and elegant. Food was the most delicious farm to table food Ive had in seattle. King crab, halibut and truffle and mushroom pasta were SO GOOD! It was perfect for my 7 year wedding anniversary too ending with a sweet dessert.

Pleasant dining experience. Food was excellent. Grass fed beef steak was good. Stayed at the lodge a few times but never ate here. Glad to have tried it out today.

My previous reviews of Copperleaf at Cedarbrook Lodge have been 5 stars. This has always been on our short list of occasion restaurants. We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, mother’s and father’s day, as well as dropped in for family dinners. Today was sadly not our usual amazing experience. We came for brunch this morning for father’s day, which I had made reservations well in advance for. We arrived at our scheduled time, and could see the restaurant was very busy for the occasion. We waited for over 20 minutes to be seated. Fair enough, since it was father’s day brunch. After being seated for a time, our server finally came to our table and we placed beverage orders, which then took a considerable time to arrive. Our server, while pleasant, seemed a little disconnected. We gave her the benefit of the doubt, since it was busy, and placed our food orders. This is where things went south. We were all but abandoned by her after this, with the exception of her finally refilling my water glass. We noted there was a 6 top that was seated next to us a good 20 minutes after we were seated. They had a different server, and wound up getting their food well before we did. My husband asked the other server if she could please send over our server because we still didn’t have food. After that our food finally arrived, with the temperature ranging from tepid to cold as if it had been sitting for a bit, and we were missing items ordered. I looked at my phone and we were finally served our food exactly 90 minutes after the start of our reservation. My husband asked to speak to the manager. William, who introduced himself as the director of food and beverage, came over to our table and my husband shared our lackluster experience. William, to his credit, listened intently and asked what he could do. I said I am also in customer service and understand how things can go wrong from time to time, but that this was not our usual experience with Copperleaf and I felt he should know. William comped our meal, which honestly made me feel a little uncomfortable because that was not expected or what we were asking for, but it is the reason we will be giving Copperleaf another chance. It has been one of our favorite restaurants in the area, and one we recommend regularly to friends and family. I do hope this was just a one off and not a normal occurrence. It is a beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous setting, and we’ve always had phenomenal service before today. Thanks to William and his excellent customer service we left feeling optimistic for the next time.
