When i tell you this is the best customer service i have ever received! We went for my brother in laws bday and we dodnt know there were multiple copper penny grills! Turns out our party was in several different locations. We changed our table and amout of people several times. They still managed to seat us all and get our food to the table! Our servers were amazing! The shrimp tacos were great too!

I had issues finding a restaurant that was able to cater our small wedding (20 people) at a venue in Marion. I reached out to Amy at Copper Penny Grill in Rutherfordton only 2 months before our our big day and luckily they were able to accommodate us! We live in the Raleigh area, so we were planning everything over phone and e-mail. Amy, the catering manager, was easy to work with and followed up with us a few days before to make sure everything was planned correctly. We ordered a few different appetizers along with the buffet that included crab cakes, stuffed shrimp Alfredo and beef tips. All of the food was fantastic and everyone kept commenting especially on the Foothill Fritters! We also opted for full service so they sent 2 servers to set up, clear tables and box everything up after dinner was finished. They were awesome and kept asking if we needed anything. Unfortunately we weren’t able to take the leftovers home due to limited space in hotel room fridge but wish we could of! We are still waiting on photos from our photographers but did get one photo in our sneak peek to share of our awesome food!

Stopped by randomly on my way to drop off something. It was lunchtime, so I stopped on in. I ate at the bar. The place is huge. The main restaurant is on the right. You need to go to the main door even to be seated at the bar or outside area.

The service is usually pretty great! There’s a few people I “prefer” over others Other than chips & queso…. I highly recommend the Spinach dip & Pita, Fried Pickles or Tatchos for appetizers. You absolutely cannot go wrong with the Cajun Chicken Pasta or one of their burgers. Their SALADS y’all! Let me tell you about their salads!!! A M A Z I N G !!!!! Their ranch ✨️. My wife and I both really enjoyed our dinner here on our way to Marion. We got.to sit outside with our dog too. To start we got an order of mozzarella sticks…they werent anything special but still good. My wife ordered the cedar plank salmon with baked potato and side Caesar salad and said everything was delicious. I had the ribeye with loaded potato and side house salad and really like everything.

Regan was our server tonight. This girl was so sweet and so hospitable. We didn’t have a chance to run out of a drink and here she came to fill us back up. The food was out quick and was mighty delicious. She checked us any chance she could. We’ve had a few rough servers here lately at this location but miss Regan sure was a delight.

I visit the Copper Penny everytime I come to Rutherfordton. I love the atmosphere there. The food has always been good there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t like. The service is good but especially when Aubrey waits on me. She is the best server/bartender in the restaurant in my opinion. She is kind, knowledgeable, funny and very attentive to her tables. I’ve also been there when she is manager and I think she does a great job at that position too. Everyone seems to like her, staff and customers and she knows what’s going on at all times. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back the next time I am in town
