Really enjoyed the shepards pie because it has very nice meat that isn’t over done. The bread was cooked fresh and fluffy. Big space but fills up fast. We had a bit of a wait for a seat at the bar. Good different types of seating with cute booths that Curve so you can hear your party better. Open concept kitchen so you can see what’s going on and they dress up all cute in there with chefs hats and coats. We were in and out in 45 minutes which was perfect. Clean restrooms and good, quick service that offered to help us split things 🙂

Really awesome place, happening crowd on a Thursday night with a guy on guitar supplying the soundtrack. I saw a picture of the onion soup and it drew me in. The bread appears to be baked in a muffin pan giving it a twisted base and fluffy top. Had to let the onion soup cool so I enjoyed the truffled mushroom gnocchi in the meanwhile. All delicious, friendly service and very satisfied.

Holy wow, this place was amazing! My only regret, is that it’s about a 6 hour drive from my home.
We went to Copper Door for a celebratory dinner after my graduation, and it did not disappoint any of us. I started with a Classic Wedge Salad, which was delicious and fresh. They also brought out fresh bread to the table, that kind of reminded me of a cross with a garlic over. It was hot fresh and soft.
For dinner, I had the New York Strip with Truffle Cream sauce, bacon onion jam potatoes, and glazed carrots. I may dream about all of it… especially the potatoes. ‍ .
Service was far above. I’m a huge fan of restaurants that box leftovers for you (I always make a mess), and they do that for you here.
A few of us had mixed drinks and martini’s, which were in point. I recommend the pistachio martini if you are a fan of pistachio and amaretto flavors. It was unique and smooth.

Received incredible lunch service from Bryce and the team. It started before we even pulled into the parking lot, when I noticed restaurant staff cleaning up the side of the road- a space not even visible from the restaurant. Bryce clearly has a great eye for attention to detail, consistently stepping in to clear a plate, fill a water, or offer drink refills before we needed to look for him.

A few days have passed and Im still thinking about my meatloaf!! We were looking for a nicer restaurant to bring some visitors, and the Copper Door did not disappoint. It was a little over whelming at first with how many menus we were given (maybe about 5?? Including an iPad with more drink options), but our waiter explained all of it well. I appreciate that while we were seeking out a more upscale lunch, there were plenty of items on the menu for those not looking to spend more than $30 a head. A great spot for entertaining guests, brunch with the ladies, or a romantic date night.

(Short rib grilled cheese, Ruben, steak frites, bacon wrapped meatloaf, ceme brûlée)

Copper Door has become one of my wife’s and my favorite destinations for special occasions. From the moment you’re seated, every detail — from the ambiance to the service — makes the evening feel elevated and memorable. The food is consistently outstanding, with appetizers like the wings and meatballs that are perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The ribeye and tenderloin are true standouts — expertly cooked, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. And no meal here is complete without indulging in one of their decadent desserts. Copper Door continues to impress us every visit, and it remains one of the best dining experiences in the area.

It has definitely stood the test of time as the definitive Bedford restaurant. A cozy place to eat. While not exceptional, the food is dependable.

Most recently we got the charcuterie; a Reuben sandwich; and the fish tacos, along with a good bottle of pinot gris. Someone was playing a keyboard, and it was a nice Sunday lunch.

Great atmosphere, packed on a weekend. Food is a mixed bag, the free bread is fresh baked and individually served in cast iron, garlic coated and is to die for. Seafood chowder was good but a tiny portion for $11, price needs to come way down or portion doubled. Calamari was decent, though the portion is modest for the near $20 price. $50 Ribeye was dissgraceful. Paper thin and over cooked. Poor cut of meat, it was no where close to 16 oz as advertized, maybe 12. Would never get another steak here.

The main draw of the place seems to.be the drinks and the atmosphere as it is really nice inside, high ceilings, large bar area with marble counter. People at the bar raved about the drinks.

We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday at this restaurant that we all usually go to. My husband and I normally go to the one in Salem, NH
This was our first time in Bedford!

Anyway, the food and drinks were great as always, nothing to complain about!
But none of us were happy with the service from the waitress who took care of our table. She was rude, walked past us without even serving water, and took a long time to ask if we wanted anything. Finally, after about 15 minutes, she came to take our drink orders. Then it took even longer for her to come back for the food orders… and to finish it off, she took the longest time to bring us the bill to pay!

The restaurant was NOT busy!!!

This restaurant is great, but I think the waitress should learn to leave her personal life outside the restaurant

I had a phenomenal, delicious seafood casserole entree for my birthday. I could eat this dish every other day (due to leftovers)!
My husband had the stuffed haddock, another winner! We were all totally satisfied (son & partner included). Compliments to the chefs, our wonderful server, Bryce and the staff. We shall return!!
