Copper Door – A Great NH Restaurant
Reviews
We went to Copper Door for a celebratory dinner after my graduation, and it did not disappoint any of us. I started with a Classic Wedge Salad, which was delicious and fresh. They also brought out fresh bread to the table, that kind of reminded me of a cross with a garlic over. It was hot fresh and soft.
For dinner, I had the New York Strip with Truffle Cream sauce, bacon onion jam potatoes, and glazed carrots. I may dream about all of it… especially the potatoes. .
Service was far above. I’m a huge fan of restaurants that box leftovers for you (I always make a mess), and they do that for you here.
A few of us had mixed drinks and martini’s, which were in point. I recommend the pistachio martini if you are a fan of pistachio and amaretto flavors. It was unique and smooth.
A few days have passed and Im still thinking about my meatloaf!! We were looking for a nicer restaurant to bring some visitors, and the Copper Door did not disappoint. It was a little over whelming at first with how many menus we were given (maybe about 5?? Including an iPad with more drink options), but our waiter explained all of it well. I appreciate that while we were seeking out a more upscale lunch, there were plenty of items on the menu for those not looking to spend more than $30 a head. A great spot for entertaining guests, brunch with the ladies, or a romantic date night.
(Short rib grilled cheese, Ruben, steak frites, bacon wrapped meatloaf, ceme brûlée)
Most recently we got the charcuterie; a Reuben sandwich; and the fish tacos, along with a good bottle of pinot gris. Someone was playing a keyboard, and it was a nice Sunday lunch.
The main draw of the place seems to.be the drinks and the atmosphere as it is really nice inside, high ceilings, large bar area with marble counter. People at the bar raved about the drinks.
This was our first time in Bedford!
Anyway, the food and drinks were great as always, nothing to complain about!
But none of us were happy with the service from the waitress who took care of our table. She was rude, walked past us without even serving water, and took a long time to ask if we wanted anything. Finally, after about 15 minutes, she came to take our drink orders. Then it took even longer for her to come back for the food orders… and to finish it off, she took the longest time to bring us the bill to pay!
The restaurant was NOT busy!!!
This restaurant is great, but I think the waitress should learn to leave her personal life outside the restaurant
My husband had the stuffed haddock, another winner! We were all totally satisfied (son & partner included). Compliments to the chefs, our wonderful server, Bryce and the staff. We shall return!!
