The food is the kind of on point you expect a place to be with plexiglass shields and all dine in seating options roped off. When you find a Chinese restaurant with pictures or a pizza restaurant with 80’s decor but a busy front door – you go.
The General Tso’s was crisp and spicy. The honey walnut chicken had some of the best charred walnuts I’ve ever had in this dish. The teriyaki chicken sticks were tender but not overly sauced. Crab rangoons and egg rolls had the good yellow real egg wrappers and were fried in fresh oil – no burnt residue taste in the fried foods. The egg rolls were the perfect combo of crispy and chewy. We fed our entire family of 5 and my parents for $57. We’ll definitely be back.
Don’t let the lack of decor dissuade you. The food speaks for itself and the service was clearly communicated, friendly, I was directed to combo and dinner options for the things I wanted and the cashier made great suggestions. 10/10 would get more next time to have leftovers and will be back when we’re in town.

Tried this restaurant this evening. It’s in a shopping center off of Highway 49 in Harrisburg, NC. I asked several people that I saw going in and out of here what they thought of the food and got all good comments. So I went in and ordered two dishes with a size of egg rolls. Shrimp with mixed vegetables and my favorite, sweet, and sour chicken.
The dishes were served with fried rice, which was very yellow with a sprinkling of peas and carrots. My hubby enjoyed his shrimp dish and said it was tasty. He will order it again.
I enjoyed my sweet and sour chicken dish as well. A little different on the fried rice but the portion side was plentiful.
They are pretty quick with the service. You cannot sit down here dur to not enough employees per a sign, but the take out is quick and convenient. They do door dash and have an extensive menu. All in all we will come here again since close to us.

I recently tried Chong Chin Chinese Restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. The portions were generous, and the shrimp and chicken with vegetables were delicious. I also ordered General Tso’s chicken, which was equally satisfying.

I am extremely disgusted at this place. The food was good and flavorful up until I started eating the Shrimp Mei Fun and discovered a DEAD COOKED ROACH, that I almost bit into. Never will I EVER order from this place again!! I have never experienced something like this and it is truly unbelievable. I am at a lost for words!!

I’ve ordered from here many times. Never gave them any problems. I ordered in DoorDash but could not change my rice to pork fried rice. I called in to change the rice and pay for the up charge but the person said they can’t do that . I asked if they could just as a one time courtesy make that change and they said no. They did not try to help. They lost a customer for $2.

The rice is garbage. It’s an insult to your Asian culture. I didn’t know I was getting fusion. Chinese and Spanish because that’s what I got. Spanish yellow rice! Where’s the soy sauce. The browning. Give me an apron. I’ll cook it correctly for you.

Wanted to give chong chin a try. I always went to fu shing. So i got fried chicken wings for lunch same as i would if i ordered from fu shing i will pay under $9 at fu shing they charge me 11.80 will not be going here for overprice food

The food was well packaged but mediocre at best. The chicken pieces in the chicken and broccoli were small and unseasoned. Some of the broccoli was under cooked and the rice was pretty bland…the food looks way better than it tastes.

I was a little skeptical about trying this places general tso chicken because of its reviews… But I can honestly say that I will not be going to any other Chinese restaurant around here again. Chong chin is now my go to place. Food was delivered hot from door Dash fresh. taste delicious. Just can’t say enough good things about it. To the people saying the meat or rice isn’t fresh…. I think they’re reviewing the wrong place!

Third time eating from here and they never disappointed. I tried the bourbon chicken today and it was really good. I got the lunch special, a nice portion of food for $8.
