I’ve lived here for 8 years and finally decided to stop in this old hole in the wall restraunt and I must say this is the best burger I’ve had in a long time . I also got a cup of crawfish etouffee . Which I highly recommend . Thanks for the awesome smiles and service as well . Price 8.5$ for the burger and 6$ for the etouffee

Hands down the best burgers on this side and end of the Parish!!! The burgers are HUGE!!! For the amount of food you get no matter what you order , the prices are excellent!!! The seafood is pretty dang amazing too!!! Some great southern comfort foods!!! And the staff… they are just phenomenal!!!, Always upbeat and cheerful no matter how overwhelmed you know they are!!! We visit this place everytime were camping at Reunion Lake RV Resort. Don’t let the block building fool you. Terrific food. They’ll serve it to you in to go box but you can eat there if you want. Order at the counter.

Small Country Restaurant that I assume is mostly take out. We ate in being the first time here. Very clean and simple. Received a genuinely friendly greeting. She explained their process for ordering, and showed us the menus laying flat on the counter to the right as you enter.

We visited Cooter Brown’s after it was recommended by several locals, we were vacationing from Illinois. We wanted a mom and pop kinda place and we found it. This is not a fancy restaurant, but its exactly what you’d expect from a local place. Food was excellent and the staff showed true southern hospitality. The only ‘negative’ would be the cost of the lunch. $36 for 2 people, but we didnt leave hungry at all. We’ll definitely visit again when we vacation here in the future.i wish I would took pictures of the food, but was to eager to eat.

THE SERVERS WERE AMAZING… BUT it was Severely over priced. Was charged the lunch price then they came back and told me it was the wrong day so they charged me the full price which was double. Three pieces of catfish and fries are not worth 17 dollars. I don’t care how it’s seasoned. I felt ripped off. DISSAPOINTED! Will not eat there again.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. The food is fantastic and comparable to any fine dining restaurant in the region. Really top-notch cuisine. I ordered the Catfish Orleans, and it was a perfectly golden-fried catfish filet covered with a beautifully done crawfish étouffée. One of the best I’ve had. The sides were good, too. Everyone at the table raved about their entrées. The person taking orders was friendly and helpful. However, the food is still provided under pandemic protocols in the dining room, self serve, and it comes in a styrofoam box with a plastic fork. It diminishes the overall experience. Great food, friendly people, but lacking a bit on the sit-down dining experience. I gave them 5 stars based on the food alone, and hope they’ll go back to real plates at some point. No matter what, though, I will go back again.
