We had the best server his name was Ralph and he made the entire experience that much more worth coming in! The food itself was slightly disappointing tonight as the surf and turf tasted more like surf than turf, the roasted vegetables came out almost Raw, and the short ribs just didn’t taste like they normally do so I don’t know if they maybe gotten a new chef but as I said it was slightly disappointing but thanks to Ralph and his awesome personality we still had a great night.

The soup and salad I ordered as carryout took 30 minutes to arrive; the soup size was like a cup, and the wedge salad was pathetic and contained very few ingredients. What happened to the bleu cheese? What happened to the onions and bacon? This is the last time I’ll order from them. I give it a thumbs down! Take a trip to Morton’s steakhouse instead.

I recently dined at Cooper’s Hawk, a restaurant my wife and her friends had recommended to me. We visited the Morton Grove location to celebrate my birthday and arrived for our 4 pm reservation. We were promptly seated within five minutes, which was a great start.

No parking at all when we came in. Hosts were very friendly and so was my server. Had one bite of lettuce and the soup tasted like Costco chicken tortilla soup super basic and gunky. I had ordered rosé and it tasted just like store bought barefoot wine. Not impressed at all. Steak was dry, super chewy and gray. So much for a wine and steak place. Really disappointed in this restaurant. Gross and unimpressed

The wine and service here is always great. I’ve ordered food in the past and mostly stick to their chicken which is tasty. Got the “chimichurri” “steak” and it didn’t taste like either. It’s more like a piece of beef. My server was nice and got me a side of cilantro and lime so I made my own chimichurri sauce. The roasted vegetables were also half burnt. The flatbread and burrata apps were better.

Generally, it is awfully difficult to find a good winery in Midwest. The best one can hope for is good food otherwise midwestern wines are god awful. Unfortunately, this place has mediocre food and terrible cocktails and wine. Every items tried were extremely salty just as red wine sangria was extremely sweet.

I don’t want to be harsh but this place isn’t a 4.5 star restaurant, the people coming here probably tell people out of state that there from CHICAGO but it clearly shows that they never eaten at a proper place in chicago…. This is a cool place both atmosphere and temperature (bring a sweater) nice place for wine but thats pretty much it. The food is average and if you’re a steak person id say pass this place & if your thinking on bringing a date here to impress them
