This was my first time here, celebrating my 6 year wedding anniversary. Blew me away, I now see why my wife has girls night here once a month. I have to shoutout 2 extraordinary women who made our experience amazing, on top of amazing on top of amazing. Desire and Julie we had the most incredible wine tasting and then above and beyond table service when we had dinner. Thank you ladies and Coopers Hawk for making 6 years married 10 years together memorable. All I can say is WOW.

I selected this location to surprise my sister for her birthday lunch, specifically because of the long history and positive experiences we’ve had here dating back to 2006. Unfortunately, this visit was not just disappointing—it reflected serious failures in service, communication, and management leadership.

We had a 2:30 PM reservation on Sunday, February 8, 2026. While our waitress was polite, she was consistently inattentive and slow. Multiple requests went unanswered, requiring us to seek assistance from other servers. This lack of basic service immediately undermined what was meant to be a special occasion.

The larger issue arose with our meal. We ordered from the lunch menu believing we were ordering short ribs with a side of mac and cheese. Instead, we received an uncommunicated short rib pasta dish. The menu does not clearly describe this item as a pasta, nor was this explained at the time of ordering. Had this been properly communicated, we would have ordered differently. This is a clear menu transparency and staff training issue.

When we expressed concern, our waitress appropriately involved a manager. A manager named Chris came to our table, and his conduct was deeply troubling. Rather than listening or attempting to resolve the issue, he was aggressive, dismissive, and combative. He repeatedly insisted that we “read the menu incorrectly,” showing no interest in accountability, resolution, or guest experience. This behavior from someone in a leadership role is unacceptable and reflects poorly on management standards at this location.

The situation deteriorated to the point where we no longer felt comfortable continuing our meal. We requested boxes and asked to leave. I also asked for the General Manager’s contact information, which was not provided—another serious concern when a guest is clearly escalating an issue.

This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had at this location. A birthday celebration rooted in nostalgia was completely derailed by poor service and unprofessional management behavior.

The only example of proper leadership came from another manager, Brian, who later approached our table with professionalism, courtesy, and genuine concern. His conduct highlighted the stark contrast in management approach and underscored that this issue lies with individual leadership accountability, not the guest.

This location has clearly deviated from the standards it once upheld. Senior management should be aware of this experience and address the gaps in leadership, training, and guest recovery immediately.

We visited on a snowy evening, and the venue was quite busy. My friends and I participated in a tasting, and the service was excellent—staff were very knowledgeable, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. We appreciated every wine we sampled.
When we were seated for dinner, the high level of service continued at the table. The food, however, was average overall. I have dined at other locations and found the food to be better there. The filet mignon had more fat than expected, which was disappointing given the smaller portion size. The potatoes were well prepared, and the egg rolls were fantastic.

Walked in around 1:30pm; went up to reception desk. The woman there was on her phone on the counter and did not greet us or look up till I said hello and asked for a booth for 3. She proceeded to say something into the headset and then did not say anything to us at all so we sat down. I spoke up after a few minutes and asked what we were waiting for like is there a wait or what is going on. She said yeah.. so we are going to the table and there is a menu and straw wrappers on the floor that my mother with a cane almost slipped on. We sat down and noticed that curtain was covered in food. Then the salt shaker was dented and not clean. Our server was Shanna and she was not friendly; like she did The bare minimum. When we got our lunch she brought out someone else’s dish and said I wasn’t thinking . It was lunch so it wasn’t crazy busy and showed lack of attention. So on the way out a different receptionist did not look up or acknowledge as we left . Good food but horrible restaurant experience. Order Togo and do not dine in.

My husband and I visited Cooper’s Hawk for the first time and we had a phenomenal time ️ Our waitress was great as she was very informative about the history of the restaurant and was patient in helping us find the best wine to suit our taste. What was most impressive is that she became familiar with us in such a short time and helped us choose meals that we really enjoyed based on customer’s choice. We even ended the night by purchasing a bottle of wine to go. This was a time to remember . P.S you can do wine tasting before your meal…

First time here and the waitress was extremely knowledgeable and so professional. She gave us wine to taste with recommendations and served us each time in a timely manner. Our food was delicious and came out plated beautifully and was served at a great temperature. The store had some beautiful glass ware for sale and cute little plates along with a wide variety of wines. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for a great meal

Food was bad pork chop over done with breading that tasted like baby food. Loberster bisque tasted like they used tuna. My wife got the gnocchi and wow as someone who worked in the industry this was bad store bought. Service was equally bad at the wine tasting station wanted 20 minutes for a hello nothing and at the table it didn’t get much better for dinner. My wife also enjoyed the random lady puking in the bathroom at 3:00 pm and the smell of majarina Throughout the restaurant. Just not good. If you want low quality food with bad service and I mean really bad service this is for you. Cooper’s Hawk do not send me some AI generated apology on how you hear me and you will look into this. You created this culture at this location so if you really want to tell me sorry refund me the 350.00 dollars that was spent on my mother’s in-laws birthday.

My son & his girlfriend had their baby shower in one of the banquet rooms, which turned into a marriage proposal. The atmosphere was classy, the decor was elegant, the servers were super nice and the food was amazing! This was my first time as a Coopers Hawk patron and I will definitely be back then next time I’m in town!
