Award-Winning Wines | Craveable Dishes | Innovative Cocktails | Wine Country Hospitality The inspiration behind Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants was the desire to bring the Wine Country experience to all of America by combining a Napa-style tasting room with a modern casual restaurant. Built upon the belief that food and wine have the ability to forge lasting connections, Cooper’s Hawk is home to one of the world’s largest wine clubs.

Cooper’s Hawk is a great spot for date night or group gatherings. We started with the wine tasting, which was such a fun experience. I loved that they offered a variety of both sweet and dry wines, it really allows you to explore your palate and discover what you truly enjoy.
After the tasting, we moved on to dinner. The appetizers and entrées were all really good, well prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The overall atmosphere makes it easy to relax, connect, and enjoy the full experience.
Definitely a place I’d return to for both the wine and the dining.

I had an incredible lunch today at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant! The atmosphere was lively making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Our waiter was extremely attentive and on point from start to finish.
The warm pretzel bread rolls came out fresh and didn’t last long at our table—they were that good! We started with the sweet chili calamari and the crispy Brussels sprouts, both packed with amazing flavor.
I had a tough time choosing my entree, but I’m so glad I went with the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon. It came with wasabi-buttered mashed potatoes and Asian coleslaw, and everything paired perfectly. The salmon was cooked to absolute perfection, and the glaze was mouthwatering. I literally forced myself to finish every bite because it was just that delicious.
If you haven’t been yet or are on the fence, I promise, you will NOT be disappointed. This place would even make an amazing date night spot with its great vibes and standout dishes.

We’ve been wine club members since 2019 and it all started with our very first visit in December 2018. We instantly fell in love with the wine, the food, the service and the incredible atmosphere! Since then, it’s become our absolute favorite place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, milestones and any moment that deserves something special. It’s a perfect place to gather with loved ones, enjoy delicious wine and amazing food, all paired with amazing service. And the wine tastings? Always such a fun and memorable experience! And definitely try their “Brunch & Bubble” menu on Saturday and Sunday

9/20/25 – was invited for a friend birthday dinner. The front is like a mini store plus a long bar to try the wines. We were seating just behind that area at a round table. You are given complimentary pretzel upon seating. We ordered the appetizers the egg rolls, classic tomatoes bruschetta, and the brussel sprouts. All three appetizers were very good. The flavors were great and great portion for a table of 7. I got the soy ginger salmon as my meal and the lobster crab soup. The soup lacked flavor and tasted only like cream which I was a bit disappointed by. My salmon also tasted like salmon and not much flavor. Could barely taste any soy ginger sauce they used. The Asian coleslaw was nice. My friend got the gnocchi carbonari pasta which tasted pretty good. Our server was great and paired a great wine with my friends dinner. The appetizers or my favorite but my meal lacked considering the pricing. Would love to come back to try some wines and eat some appetizers though.

So I picked this place for my birthday dinner this year and let me just say it did not disappoint. The restaurant was so clean, the staff was so nice and our waiter was the bomb. Ok so we started off with the wine tasting. OMG them 8 glasses of wine had both of us feeling right. We tried the sweet wines. Let’s just say before I left that counter I was a 2 bottle wine member. After we did the tasting it was time to eat. Again this place never disappoints. The food was so so so so good. Let me just say I will definitely be coming back again and again.

Decided to make a reservation here for dinner. The environment is clean and modern, not really what I’d call upscale though. It is also pretty noisy, so don’t come here if you want a quiet, relaxed, intimate dinner.
The service was great! Our server Harrison was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, and was prompt in getting our orders out in a timely manner.
Most of the wines were good except for the glass of merlot I got, it tasted the same as the cheap merlot I get from the grocery store. The pinot noir and super tuscan both tasted better, richer, and more velvety. The lux white meritage was pretty good, lightly sweet, crisp, and refreshing. The chocolate almond, blueberry, and rhubarb dessert wines were also really good and sweet.
Unfortunately I was very unimpressed with the food. The cramp, shrimp, and lobster bisque was delicious and flavorful, the pretzel bread was light and fluffy, and those were the best parts. My shrimp and scallop risotto was so bland that no amount of being wine drunk could have made it taste better, and for $35 I found it to be a measly portion with not a lot of seafood on it. My dessert of crème brûlée was lightly sweet, creamy, and had enough crisp on the top with a touch of fresh blackberry. It was good, but nothing spectacular.
I would *maybe* come back only for the appetizers and a few wines and that’s it. The quality, presentation, and taste of the entrees was just underwhelming for the amount we paid. For better wines and food that actually tastes good, and a more relaxed environment, I would recommend going to Mermaid Winery instead.

Arrived for our reservation at 1230. Watched 3 others behind us get seated. We were told the table had to be prepared. Seated at 1245. That was the only reason we marked service at 4 stars. Everything after that was phenomenal! Our server Kenny was on point and was extremely professional. The manager also provided us compensation for our wait, even though we never complained! Love this restaurant !

Overall, this restaurant isn’t super wheelchair friendly and the food isn’t worth the price. The door handles were so high that someone in a wheelchair couldn’t reach them. My reservation was for 6pm, and I wasn’t seated until after 15 minutes of waiting. The menu said my sandwich had avocado on it, and as per the photo, it was less than one slice. My mahi mahi was dry. The asian slaw was pretty good though. The lighting was nice, but the restaurant was super crowded and loud; the person next to me couldn’t even hear me well. I also had to park at lynnhaven mall because there aren’t not enough parking spaces at the restaurant. The best thing about this place is the pretzel bread.

We chose Cooper’s Hawk since my daughter joined their wine club and said the food was really good. Upon entering you there is no clear indicator of where you go to get a table. The entry is busy with little tables of things to purchase, one bar, a ‘check in” and “check out ” counter, then another counter under a Cooper’s Hawk sign.
After putting our name on the list to get a table, the wait was 30 min for inside or outside. Our preference was outside. The restaurant was roughly 50% empty inside. So I assumed they were down on staff. 50 min later we asked how much longer and they said they were clearing a table. Unfortunately, that table was inside. It would be a little longer for outside. This is why I gave 3 stars!
Kenny was our server, and he was very pleasant. Our drinks did take a few minutes to come out (wine and a mocktail). Appetizer – Calamari, the other two throughly enjoyed. My daughter ordered the Grouper which was so delicious! I had the Cliantro Ranch Chicken and a side salad. The chicken was tender and everything went well together! My salad did not come out, and after asking it took some time. The last order was the Prime sandwich. I did not taste, but looked delicious!
As far as atmosphere, it is a wide open space, so nothing to block noise. Towards the end of our meal there happen to be a very loud girl 3 booths down, and we were all happy to be leaving because it was a level of loud that was disruptive.

Went a few weeks ago for dinner with my Wife and our friends. The waiter was very attentive and offered us the membership. Her presentation was so good we were all in. The food was very good and the wines we selected were amazing. We had the Red Sangria and the Rose. Having the membership allows us two bottles per visit and three free bottles a month for home of our choosing. I can’t speak highly enough about the hospitality, atmosphere or food service.
