First time here under new management. The place was packed. Did have to wait for our food for awhile but it was worth it. I got the special which was Country Style Steak with mash taters and Mac & Cheese. Food was fantastic, service was fantastic, staff was friendly. Highly recommend this place. Whatever y’all do to the mash taters and Mac and cheese please do NOT change it lol.

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. In the fall they got the best soup you could ask for. All year round the food is delicious. Anytime we are in the area we make sure to stop here and eat. Down home cooking. Very friendly service. Priced just right. FYI: they don’t take debit/credit cards. ATM is located inside. Bring cash. It’s a great place to bring the whole family. I highly recommend stopping here if your in the area.

Very disappointed with my meal tonight. Hamburger steak was over cooked, dry and tough. Also, every bite I got a gristle. My husband’s was the same and he got peaches and they were so hard it was like eating an apple! Needless to say we will not be spending $30. for this quality of food again!

Had the pot roast, was absolutely wonderful. This is one of those locally well known eateries that is fantastic. Have eaten here many times and every dish is just as good as any other. The place is clean, staff is pretty friendly. You may even get a chance to run into an ole friend. I will return to dine again

My husband and I have gone here for years, but we will not be back. I understand that prices have increased everywhere, but over $30 for one plate of fish is ridiculous. My order started out at $47 for two plates. I called back and cancelled one plate leaving my total at $30. When I got there, they had both original orders. I told the girl at the front that I had cancelled the cheaper order. Instead of getting the $30 order I was given the order I cancelled. The girl acted annoyed when I tried to explain this. I called back to talk to the manager. She said so we owe you a deviled crab. She wanted to know if I wanted to come back to get it. Well first of all they didn’t even give me the right order. I told her no that I wouldn’t be back because I had already explained this three times and no one was getting it. She hung up on me! No apology for screwing up my order or the attitude from the staff. She just hung up on me. That is the lowest level of customer service that you can get. That right there is how you lose customers. Like I said, we have gone there for years, but we will not be back. People right now are careful about where they spend there money in this economy. I will not be spending mine there.
