It’s worth the drive! I came from Salt Lake to try their menu. I was impressed, the restaurant was clean, the staff was professional, and the food was outstanding! The garlic fries were great, I also tried the bread pudding, which was exceptional!

We dropped in on a whim, and were absolutely delighted. Who sold expect to find such a treasure – such great food – in the middle of tiny Paradise? My wife and I agreed that ours were the best burgers we’d had anywhere. My mother-in-law had the chicken tenders, and was blown away – they were unlike any she’d ever had and delicious. Definitely worth the drive. We’ll be back, and back again. Maybe this week. Great service. You can tell they really care about their product.

We drove across the valley to try this place and it was definitely worth the drive. We had fish & chips and they were the best ones we’ve had in a very long time, they melt in your mouth. We highly recommend the Johnny Utahs fry sauce too, it has a real kick in the best way. It has fun hometown diner charm and the service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend and we will be back. My husbands dying to return to try a burger. Thanks for the positive experience and DELICIOUS food.

This was my fourth visit to Cooks Underground, but my first time at their Paradise location. Compared to the Federal Avenue spot, there’s definitely more seating, making it a great choice for a fun dinner date or for family dining.
This time, we branched out and tried the Pork Goulash—unbelievable! It was so good that both my wife and I couldn’t stop raving about it. The pork was incredibly tender (no knife needed), the dumpling was perfectly soft and flavorful, and the sauce—oh, the sauce! My wife literally sighed after her first bite and said “what is happening in my mouth right now!?” You know that scene in the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld when Elaine says, “I gotta sit down”? Yeah, it was that good.
On top of the amazing food, the fact that EVERYTHING here is made from scratch—including the sauces, buns, and more—makes us appreciate the value even more. While the prices are a bit higher than some other spots in the valley, when you consider the effort and quality behind each dish, it’s more than fair. Try making your own hamburger buns and replicating their aioli (which takes two weeks to make btw) and you’ll have no problem giving them a couple more dollars than the Golden Arches!
Real, handcrafted food without preservatives is something my family values, and we’ll continue to support this incredible restaurant. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! It’s a bit unassuming visually, but you can taste the quality in every bite. I’m a bit of a foodie, and this place hit all the boxes for me. We had the Big Bleu Aggie and the Poultrygiest. Very satisfying overall and can’t wait to come again!

1st time here, wonderful surprise! My Little Rascal burger was delicious! Best bun, like Fuddruckers but better! My hubby had the Big Blue Aggie and loved it! Fries are nice and crunchy, many sauces to choose from. Great job all around, friendly service as well! We highly recommend it!

Great smash burgers and fries with inventive combinations of ingredients and sauces. Wonderful names referencing cult and classic movie lines. So glad they’re putting this old Paradise restaurant to use–every community needs a cafe to gather in, and this is a great one. Comfortable, clean, seating space indoors and out. Great staff, friendly and efficient. Other items on the menu too including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and chicken, etc. Don’t wait, drive out for a taste of paradise.
