The burger was everything a smash burger should be — thin, beautifully crispy on the outside, and still moist and flavourful inside. The lettuce and tomato were fresh (no mushiness here), and the bacon was cooked to perfection: crispy without being overdone. Every bite had that perfect balance of texture and flavour.
The vanilla milkshake? Creamy, rich, and just sweet enough without being overpowering. A classic done right.
And let’s talk about the “Messy” fries — loaded with sour cream, green onion, and stadium cheese sauce. They were indulgent, flavour-packed, and completely worth it. Definitely the kind of side dish you don’t want to share.
A true hidden gem that’s doing comfort food right.

This place probably has the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve eaten. The fried chicken is juicy but the batter is super crunchy. The sauce, the bun, and all the toppings are just perfect. It made me feel $15 for a sandwich is justified.
The burger is also very good.
The half and half side for $7 is a great option for those who want a bit of everything. More places should offer it.

Best burger I’ve ever had. Come for the cute little town, stay for the burger. Eat two, or three. I wish I had. I’m now home on my couch, eating dry tortilla chips, feelin a little sad that I’m not eating one right now. Absolutely a 10/10 for everything: service, great patio, good beer, gooooooooood burger. Love you Cooks, can’t wait to come back!
