The quesabirrias were so yummy!! I got the goat and it was super tender but they have beef as well. Consume was very flavorful and it came with spicy and normal. The salsas were good too, I really liked the red salsa. I also got the beans and rice, which were good. It is a nice and clean restaurant, and staff is very friendly and bilingual!

Well was referred here by some friends so I was very hopeful. Ordered my food for me and my wife, im telling you spending 40 and getting next to 0 meat in any of my food is wild. Tons of eggs though. If you want egg tacos or burritos they got you. 4 tacos and a large burrito and have to play wheres Waldo with the meat is ridiculous. Then add on top I get through the first half of the burrito go to pick up the second and hair just chilling right where I was about to bite. Definitely dont recommend there’s a food truck at a gas station right by 75 and white way way better food. I love supporting locals but this was a bust.

SO GOOD !!! My first time here. Had shredded chicken Gorditas. Great flavor – very fresh. The red sauce served at the table was the BOMB. Nice service and good prices too. It was packed with eat in and to go customers at 12pm on Saturday who were eating breakfast and lunch. I am already planning the next time I can eat there and I live 40 minutes away. I’m telling you it’s worth the drive.

This is a great place to eat. Good food, very flavorful. Very nice bilingual staff. Parking was kind of hard to find due to the construction on the road. We parked down the street. Overall, it is a clean, family-friendly mexican restaurant. Just go to counter and order sit down, and they bring it to you. The homemade chips and salsa were so good!!! With tip $38 for 2 people. The barbacoa was very delicious!!

Had the omelette breakfast plate (bacon last weekend, sausage this weekend) and quesabirrias. Food is delicious. Service is pretty quick. More accessible this weekend as major road construction seems to be over. Some minor work still to be done it seems. Parking in the Chestnut garage is super easy for shaded parking and a short walk to the restaurant.

Chorizo breakfast tacos were lights out and the quesobirria tacos were also very good. Perhaps the star of the show was the cup of consommé that came with the birria, probably worth the trip alone. Definitely a great place.

First time eating here and I’ve lived in McKinney since 2020 and it was worth the wait. Attentive staff and a full house for the breakfast menu. Food was very good. We ordered the migas and breakfast burritos.
Coming back for the lunch and dinner menus sometimes. I’ve heard people rave about Cookies and thought they deserved a good review from me, to add to all the other good reviews they have. Try it you’ll like it!
