Mixed feelings. Terrible and great.
I was immediately greeted by a large pool of standing water when entering the building. The bathrooms were disgusting. The dining room was a mess. Every table was dirty. There were no napkins available in the dining room, or even a place for them to have been available. Atmosphere and presentation was awful.
However, the food was incredible. Exactly what I wanted. Really good.
And the young lady at the counter was very nice

Everything was PERFECT! My husband and I are visiting Mississippi from Houston, Texas and we always have to make a stop at Cook Out. This was the best experience I’ve had at any location. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and fast! It was so impressive to see how everyone worked together and communicated with each other to push all the orders out. This location has a really good team, and every single person that helped me with my order was super nice. The food was incredible. I absolutely love Cook Out but this location in particular was a HIT! I can’t wait to come back. To the manager, you have some really good people here. Its a decent fast food joint with pretty good prices.
We were in a rush so we couldn’t try one of the Trays,but the individual items were pretty good. If you read reviews for other establishments in the area you might see that people say the area is sketchy. When we were there a disturbed gentleman wandered in from the streets and began going from table to table harrassing people. The staff yelled at him and he left without and issue,so this isn’t the first time that’s happened.
It was weird,but it didn’t feel like an unsafe situation however this is just a heads up in case that type of thing might unsettle you.
We’re absolutely coming back whenever we’re in the area again.

The food was great. The strawberry milkshake was delicious. I also love that they play Christian music. Makes the atmosphere that much better. The staff was friendly as well. Highly recommend Cookout.

The service was excellent. Pam took our order and was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided friendly and welcoming service. The food was served promptly. My husband ordered the chicken strips, onion rings, and fried cheese curds. I had the charbroiled chicken club sandwich, fries, fried cheese, and hushpuppies. Regrettably, the fountain drinks lacked the expected level of carbonation. The chicken strips seemed to be pre-frozen and had too much batter. The onion rings were decent but were smaller and fewer in number compared to other restaurants. The fried cheese curds were average. For those with a preference for charbroiled chicken, the chicken sandwiches would likely be a suitable choice. The fries were satisfactory.However, the hushpuppies, while enjoyable, seemed incongruous with the overall menu offerings. My husband enjoyed the Butterfinger milkshake, which he compared to a Dairy Queen Blizzard. The restroom requires attention, as it lacks paper towels, and the floor is in a slippery condition.

Basic fast food slightly better then McDonald’s but not quite as good as Wendy’s. Very reasonable price for what you get the fries were fantastic and the shake was super thick but nothing special and the burger was greasy. In a pinch I might eat there again. But probably not….

Good, I was hungry so this was one of the only places open on New Year’s Day. The girl at the counter was patient with us when ordering, she answered all of our questions. Good for a quick and affordable meal.
