I came here for lunch. It’s the location by Georgia Tech. I am a born and raised North Carolinian so Cookout was a staple for lunch or late night snack after some hanging with friends and consuming adult beverages. I went to a Cookout while here in Atlanta in the South Cobb County area. It wasn’t that great of an experience…so I haven’t been back to one in a while.
Decided to give Chick-Fil-A a break today and went next door to Cookout because I was feeling nostalgic. I’m glad I went. I decided to walk inside and order. The person taking my order was very friendly and professional. Food came out nice and hot in under 5 minutes. They lots of people in the drive through and the dining area had a few people enjoying a nice lunch break.
I decided to take my food back to my office. I ordered a Cookout Tray with Double Cheese burger that had grilled onions and mayo. Some onion rings, a corn dog and caramel milkshake. All under $10. I was feeling greedy so I also ordered a Cookout style hot dog (homemade chili, mustard, Cole slaw and onions. I added ketchup). Y’all this place is doing it right. Food is good! Tastes just like I got it off market st in Greensboro, NC! Great service and the food is tasty, fast and hot! My milkshake is DELICIOUS!!
(I wasn’t a big fan of the onion rings. But I’m also an onion ring snub. Will get something else next time.)

What pisses me off about fast food is that they are going so fast that they constantly give you the wrong damn food. You try not to look through everything and hold their lines up because I know the point is to get you through fast but this is so irritating to open your food and have the WRONG items on it. Case in point, I don’t eat beef, why would I ever order a burger. I always get the SPICY CHICKEN tray and add cheese and pickles. Now I’m sitting here hungry and the wrong damn food.

Not that bad of a quick fix for hunger. The food was hot and tasty to my liking. The 1 major problem with my tray order was that the onion ring and chicken nuggets were skimp (2-3) in my combo meal. The milk shake was A1.

This is a chicken quesadilla add jalapeños, I’m sitting here trying to figure out did I order a jalapeño quesadilla or a chicken quesadilla. There’s no chicken on neither of my quesadillas and the jalapeños are overly placed for no reason . SMH very upset

I was trying to order at the front window around 3:15AM. Multiple people walked past me without saying anything. I asked an employee why my order wasn’t being taken and when she asked other employees, they said the walk-up window was closed. Someone could have easily came to the window to communicate that.

The best bang for your buck fast food in the entire continental United States. I recommend the regular burger tray everything on the burger no cheese, fries, chicken quesadilla, Coke Zero, 2 cookout sauces. You won’t be disappointed

Went for a late dinner after concert, im a very picky eater and the lady was super nice even though I asked a million questions. She didnt make me feel guilty about changing things, food was ready fast and fresh. Would recommend!

I’m not sure how this place constantly gets your order wrong. It’s everytime with this place at least one thing is wrong or just completely missing. Make sure you check your entire order before leaving because I don’t know how I keep making the same mistake of thinking they did anything correct here.
