You go there knowing you’re going to leave full and satisfied. The portions are generous, the food comes out hot, and the menu has plenty of options to mix and match. It’s the kind of place you hit up when you’re craving something hearty and reliable without spending a lot of money.
There’s something refreshing about a spot that sticks to what it does best and doesn’t try to overcomplicate things. Simple, flavorful, affordable — that’s the Cook Out experience. And sometimes, that’s exactly what you’re in the mood for. ✨
If it’s your first time, the move is to order a tray. It’s easily the best value on the menu and lets you mix and match a few different items without spending much. Whether you’re craving a burger, chicken, or one of their classic sides, you’ll leave full and happy. For quick comfort food that doesn’t break the bank, this place delivers every time.
On top of that, the kid taking my order barely spoke louder than a whisper, so I had no clue what the hell he was saying half the time I was anxiety ridden, trying to order.
After finally getting my order done, I was just ready to get out of there. I got my food, and went home. It was only after I got home that I realize that my order was wrong. My burger was missing the tomato, even though it was clearly on the receipt that I was supposed to have “everything” on it.
On top of that, the nuggets I got as one of my side was the saddest three dry little nugs I’ve ever seen.
The bummer is the patties in the burger itself were actually cooked better than most fast food spots. All the negatives make it hard for me to recommend, though…
That said, their huge milkshake selection is pretty incredible.
