Compared to most eateries in the area, this Cookout location is not the worst late night spot. However after two visits, the fries have been hard, cold, dry and over seasoned with sodium free cajun spice. My “regular” burger patty was half the size of the bun and burnt to a crisp. You have to beg for a bag to put your food in. The drive thru is pretty slow for a Cookout but as mentioned above, not the worst spot in the area. As a NC native, this Cookout is a damn shame but remains above the Atlanta standard. With that being said, keep up the good work i guess.

I am writing this to warn others about cashiers at this place. Firstly the food is Ok, I would give it a 3/5 overall. Sometimes it’s very good and sometimes it’s very average. I am really writing this in connection with service in connection with the female young cashiers recently.
Female young sista cashier 1 – The price was around $10 and I had $9 on my card. She said that she would only charge me $9 as agreed but when I checked my bank statement she charged me $10. Nothing too major.
Female young sista cashier 2 – I was supposed to get $10 change back but she gave me $1 instead. I only found out the next day and I cannot prove it but I think it was deliberate, a hustle. It was late night, kind of dark and I just took the food without looking properly at the money.
For anyone going there please be very careful and check the change you recieve before driving off from the drive through window. Also please be careful and check your card statement by phone or via your app after purchase.

Fresh and yummy food. Had Cajun chicken burger with chicken nuggets and quesadillas. All were fresh and good. The banana pea nut butter milkshake was too good.

I eat here once a week and I’ve never had bad service or bad food. Food is consistently hot and fresh. The drive through wait can be a little long at times, but I’ve always found it to but worth the wait once my food Is given to me. Highly recommend!

Cook Out is a decent restaurant. You get decent food for a great price. The staff was helpful here and they were patient with my group (we hadn’t eaten here before and the menu is fairly large). The staff at the register helped us navigate the menu.
I got a burger, hush puppies, a bacon lettuce wrap, and a butterfinger shake. It tasted fine. The shake had a milky-icy quality to it that I didn’t love. I wouldn’t write home about any of it, and I probably wouldn’t get any of it again unless I was trying to save money.
I don’t know if all Cook Out locations have this, but this location has a sink in the lobby area next to the register. I’m not sure if it is for public use, but I used the sink to wash my hands.
The floor of the restaurant was very sticky feeling, and before we could sit down I had to grab some cleaning supplies from another table and wipe ours down before we could eat.
The reason for the 3-star review is because the food was just fine, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar. The redeeming quality of this restaurant is their staff was very kind and helpful, and the cost of food is affordable for pretty much everyone. Would I eat here again? No, but I certainly wouldn’t judge anyone if they did.

I usually use the drive through, but went inside that Saturday afternoon. It was around 2pm. I stood at the empty counter for a few minutes before a young lady came out to take my order. While waiting for my food, I went to choose a table. They were all dirty, with visible crumbs and grease. I selected one and used the paper towels and sink to clean it off, then set my receipt and straw down and went to use the restroom. When I came out, an employee from the back had taken a seat, facing the window. So I picked up my receipt and straw and went to clean another table. There are no napkins in the dining area, just a roll of paper towels by a small sink. And there are no condiments on the tables or counter – you have to ask for packets.
I have always enjoyed the food and shakes at Cook Out, but I will likely stick to the drive through next time. The dine-in experience is a let-down at this location.

I’ve never been here before thought we would try something new. It was well priced but the food was not that great I ordered a bacon burger with everything on it ( ask if that meant tomatoes and lettuce) well it didn’t have it when it came also the burger was so small I had more bun than burger as you can see on the picture. Also ordered a banana fudge shake it was just banana it wasn’t real banana also there was no fudge ( it went down the drain when I got home) plus I got onion rings and I 3 total. Also ask for a quesadilla and got fries If you want something cheap and your hungry this is the place. But you get what you pay for.

This location was extremely slow. Ordered three hot dogs and two milk shakes. Hot dogs were handed across the counter and I asked about the 2 shakes, was told we’re working on them. 20 minutes later we received our shakes. It was the same for all the customers in the dining area.

We had good service. We love that it’s a relaxed place with good soft gospel music playing in the background. The food was great! Hot with great flavor! I had the bacon ranch wrap and hush puppies. Hubby had a double burger. Grand had a hot dog.
