Decent location. Usually the drive thru is backed up, and it’s kind of confusing if you haven’t been there before.
Edit 4/13/2025 – went around 6pm. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich add bacon. Bacon was definitely fresh. Lettuce, tomato, bun, mayo all great. But what was supposed to be the star of the show… the grilled chicken… a shriveled up brown piece of… I don’t know what. Seriously Cook Out, what is this even? I really expected better from you. What a let down.
Service was okay. Girl who took my order could use some hospitality training. The gentleman at the window was fantastic.

A little disappointed I came in today instead of going through the drive through, or choosing something else to eat. I’m standing ready to order waiting for the young lady to finish texting on her phone. I order, and she walks off. No order number or receipt. I go to look for a table and all of the tables are dirty. So found a clean spot at a dirty table. There’s only two other tables parties eating. seems pretty slow. Why can’t the manager step in when needed so someone can clean? Maybe I came at a bad time but it seems to me like the lunch rush would have died down by 2:35.

I wasn’t even hungry, but when I see a place with two double order lines wrapping around the building, I had to go check it out. It was late at night also and they were open. Like the good ole days before covid when you could go to a concert or bar and still get some fast food afterwards, before going home.
They have sooooo many things on their menu. I suggest looking online at the menu before pulling up. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwhich, hushpuppies, fries, and a very large sweet tea. It only came to 7 bucks and some change!! What?! For real, it was cheap, and it all tasted soooo good. I wish I had tried their milk shakes. I was told they have tons of flavors. In fact, their sign said 40 flavors. Crazy!!
So, on top of their food being good and lines being crazy long, the customer service was off the hook! I was unfamiliar with the menu, and this place and the guy taking my order was so helpful, patient, and just sooo nice. I wish I had gotten his name. He’s from NY is all I know, and he was calm under the pressure of all those orders and those lines. The world needs more of him in every store & resteraunt across the world. He was so nice, I asked him if I could take and post his picture. Great job, New York dude, living in S.C. and setting the bar for friendly customer service everywhere.

Always good and on time. Cookout hits the spot. I’ve been visiting late night for my cravings and I’m always satisfied. The prices are cheap and you get a good amount of food for the price. I wish they would put in 6 nuggets instead of 3 on the trays though. They are good and I always want more than 3 nugs. The chicken quesadilla is good and I love the BLTs! I’m always coming through this cookout so definitely I’ll be back. Soon. Keep up the great work because I know how it is working in the food business and it can be stressful so I want to thank all of you for what you do! Those lines can get ridiculous so you have to be patient but it’s worth every $1. Thank you for serving the public late night!

Cookout has gone downhill hard. Lucky to get the right order, let alone something edible. Burger looks like they tossed it in a sock and slung it over the roof. Tomato slices are thicker than the burger. Bun looks like a deflated butt cheek implant. And why is the lobby still closed? It’s been years now guys.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a butterfinger milkshake and a cappuccino instead. Handed it back to the cashier and explained that and she snatched it and slammed the window shut without a word. Ordered (among other things) a 5 piece nugget and a regular fry and they just literally threw it all in a small bag…. Like slop. Who does that ? Never seen anything like it.
