Wish we could of ate inside. Burger cookout style and cheddar style 5 stars! Fries & onion rings needed to be could cooked longer. Loved the hush puppies, & cheese bites. Chocolate malt 5 stars, coke float was good but needed more coke, it was mostly ice cream. We would eat there again.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at Cookout In Williamston NC! We asked for a 2 Cheeseburger Quesadilla tray with double fries. Which you can see on the receipt that they rung us up right. After we left I opened up my tray and to me this doesn’t seem like double fries, and after that I looked in my quesadillas and one was correct and the other one was mainly cheese that was cold and not even melted, with barely any chicken which I didn’t order! When they first opened up everything was great!

We went later in the evening about 11:30pm. Loved that they were open late night. I got chicken nuggets fries and hushpuppies all of which was delicious. I love their hush puppies, they were crispy and mmm yummy.

Past several experiences have been just awful. The cook out in Rocky Mount is NIGHT AND DAY better than this god awful place. This certain cook out is forever getting the order wrong, giving out cold reheated food, or worse. Showed up at 1am for a coke and it tasted like pure water or flat soda. $3 for a flat soda, or $10 for a tray that’s guaranteed to be missing anything from as small as a fork or Cajun seasoning to as much as your entire sandwich. Hard to blame most of this on the day time cashiers as they are clearly busy and doing their best. The receipt is almost always right, while the food that comes in the bag continues to be wrong. SMH, I’ve worked in the hospitality industry (restaurant business) all my life. And it’s sad that cook out which is so popular in NC is such a sad excuse of a place to eat in Williamston NC.

Food was horrid. Gentleman at the menu not only kept cutting us off but then when we tried to correct the order at the window he Simply said no and held his hand out for the payment. Never had this happen before. I am almost 6 months pregnant and they severed us food that has been sitting out. Everyone knows pregnant women cannot eat anything sitting out for over an hour. The meat is so cold it’s hard. ’m editing my review now that I’ve gotten home and actually got to sit down and eat the food.

We stoped and got some food before heading to the big daddy motorsports truck and tractor pull in the Dome and unfortunately the items we ordered were not what we got but we ate it anyway. The first person ordered a regular cheeseburger all the way and I believe he said the burger was to small for him but my burger was fine, size wise to myself and the other people eating also said there size of burger was fine, he rated his burger 4/10. Second order was quesadilla, Fries & chicken nuggets. Crispy chicken nuggets, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. 10/10 but how can you mess up nuggets … You can’t…The fries tasted like they’ve been sitting for quite some time and there was no issue with the quesadilla, it tasted like a quesadilla. Nothing fancy or special just a normal quesadilla. They rated the entire meal 6/10 and fries were a 1/10. Third order was a cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and cheese, but it came with fried onions other than not being made the way it was ordered it was good. Rated 7/10 The last order was a cheddar style burger and it was asked to take the onions off, when we got the food there was no cheddar style in the bag at all. So we had to go back up to the counter and get them to give us our Burger. After waiting they finally bring it to us at the window & upon opening it and asking them to not have the onions on there, we got extra extra extra greasy onions. The whole Burger was mostly just onions. I was so hungry I just pulled as many onions as I could off, which was around 30 of them and just ate the burger. Burger was good the cheese was amazing but, because of how many onions were on the bread, the bread had gotten really greasy and it was like if you dunk bread in grease that’s the best way I can explain it. Burger itself was good and I would rate the meat and the cheese a 9/10 but because of the greasy bread that was not edible and the onions the burger as a whole I have to rate it a 3/10 . The grease and the onion’s ruined it.

Customer service was horrible. I’m a female and I’m driving a big van so they can’t really see my face. She kept calling me, sir sir sir sir sir and then she was very rude. Told me she was closed and it is like 1:57 PM in the afternoon so how’s they close? I don’t know but I advise you do not go there?
