Stopped in for lunch the other day and barely had room for dinner. Great sized portions of really good food. Everything we had was delicious and fresh. The service was great and the atmosphere is perfect. Dark, cozy, Irish pub vibes. Absolutely loved this place.

I’m not certain what happened to get old cook McDougal’s in my time away from Kokomo. It used to be my favorite place for their delicious French onion soup which brought back memories from when I was a kid of my favorite soup my mom made. Relocated back and the last two times I have went has been a let down.
The French onion soup tastes like it comes from a package. The Jamarita tastes like the fruit is old they used to make it and don’t even try to get a smile out of the employees.
I used to love the staff and how nice they were, but the last two visits I’ve been treated like an inconvenience, even though I’m paying your bills. I’m not complicated, I don’t complain and I tip extremely well.
$32 for a bowl of soup, French fries, and a Jamarita and I can’t get the decency of a smile or anything? If you’re so miserable at your job find something else to do, because you ain’t getting no more money from me, and no more telling others to try the place.
All good things must come to an end is true I guess, now to find a place with French onion soup and staff who care …..

I can’t sing the praises to this restraint enough. Me and my friends went here for one of their 21st birthdays. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the decor was great. We got a lot of great cocktails and other drink, they are reasonably priced also. We ordered the mcdoogle ball and they were really good. I got the fish and chip. They were super crispy and the best I’ve had. Our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. She gave my friend a birthday pickle shot. Overall I highly recommend giving this gem a visit.

What an awesome atmosphere. There are lots of private little nooks with tables for a “private feel” while eating, or seats near the front that are more in the open. Tried the bangers and mash (amazing), shepherd’s pie (tastey), and Scotch egg rolls (disappointed that they weren’t scotch eggs, but they weren’t bad). I also ended with sugar cream pie that wasn’t that good, but is apparently from a popular local bakery. I would have liked to have tried some of the other pies, but I was so full from the bangers and mash which I couldn’t stop eating. It was really that good. The only thing better than the bangers was the server Amanda. She took time to talk to me about the food and enlightened me to some of the sources. I really appreciated her kind attitude and customer service.

The place was absolutely the best Irish pub we’ve ever visited. The moment you enter, the place has a wonderful vibe and atmosphere to it. The service was fast and very personable. The food was fast, hot, and delicious. From the appetizer to the main dish, everything we tasted exceeded our expectations. The portion sizes are large and very filling. The costs were reasonable, especially for the amount of food we ordered. Their beer menu has a fantastic selection to choose from as well. We traveled 2 hours just to visit and eat here for our Valentines Day celebration, and we’ll be making more trips here in the future.

1st time visiting, incredible architecture and decor was very inviting. Service was fast and friendly. Our server, Nikole, was awesome. She answered our menu questions and gave us some history about the building and the restaurant. Food was great and the cheesecake was the perfect ending to our experience. Everything was presented well. We were not huge fans of their famous McDoogal balls, but their fish and chips were outstanding. We will definitely visit again

Oh my goodness! We were so impressed by the food here! As Louisianians we know what good food is, but we also love to try new things. Everything we ordered was on point and delicious! Even my picky husband ate ALL of his leftovers!

The food quality and quantity here are outstanding. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh, confirming the care taken in the kitchen. Crucially, the portions were great-sized; in fact, they were so generous that we barely had room for dinner that evening! It’s a fantastic value for really good food.
