Our favorite place for date night, we stopped in for some snacks before heading to Ball Arena tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed the warm cheesy focaccia, and the crab cake was DIVINE. Don’t miss out on the Brussels sprouts either! We’re looking forward to another special night at Coohill’s very soon.

AMAZING food at Coohills last light. Charcuterie board was great; the pâtè was ridiculously good. Perfect Duck Leg Confit with Lentils. House made bread is delicious. Chef Tom Coohill Jr. is one of Denver’s very best and Diane Schapiro Coohill runs a great front of the house! Have you been? You need to!

Beautiful location and great service. The sunflower China cat drink was delicious. The French fries were very yummy. My chicken was pink and I was unable to eat it. The orange sorbet was nasty very tart and I don’t recommend. I’d recommend this locations for drinks and appetizers but wouldn’t recommend for the dinner menu or desserts.

I have had the great pleasure of working weddings at Coohills. The entire team from sales, owners, and staff are amazing to work with. The couple is taken great care of from the moment they look at the venue and throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding day. The staff provides five-star service to the guests and leaves a lasting impression, and working with them is a true pleasure. The beautiful urban backdrop of the bridge for ceremonies is unlike any other in the city. The patio and open layout of the restaurant lends a perfect spot for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. The food and desserts are excellent, and there are extensive wine and beverage options. I love working with Coohills and highly recommend them for weddings and events.

We ended up going on a busy night between the Avs game and holiday parties, but they were so attentive and thoughtful it more than made up for any delay. The food and service was amazing! Loved everything we ordered. I got the fish of the day, which was so good! And we always get the crab cakes, potatoes, and bread pudding! ☺️

Don’t come here on a holiday where they have a set menu prepared. They had clearly overbooked. We got there at the time of our reservation and they told us they had 15 tables waiting to be seated but we could have a seat at the bar. We waited another 30 mins at the bar. It was very clear the staff was flustered and stressed. managements fault but it didn’t make our experience feel very good. Lastly, it was a set menu 5 course meal and the wait in between each course was so long that it was ridiculous… food was amazing tho! No complaints about the food at all, the experience was very poor overall for being Valentine’s Day.

After a team training event, we stopped by Coohills for drinks and appetizers—and I’m so glad we did! As a Louisiana native and self-proclaimed crab cake connoisseur, I was blown away by their signature Blue Crab Cake. No breadcrumbs, just pure crabmeat, perfectly pan-fried. The dipping sauce? So good, I used the house bread & butter to soak up every last drop.

I also tried the Supreme Focaccia—vegetarian and nut-free, yet packed with abundant flavor. The white truffle oil was a standout touch.

For dessert, we shared the Brioche Bread Pudding (and I don’t even like bread pudding!)—it was rich, warm, and surprisingly light. The Croissant Apple Tart with cinnamon whiskey ice cream was so good I almost didn’t want to share with the table. I’m already planning to come back in November just for that dessert!

To top off the evening, Chef Tom and Diane personally visited our table. They were warm, genuine, and clearly passionate about creating a memorable dining experience. I left feeling like I’d just dined with my own family.

We had a fantastic experience at Coohills tonight. The owner stopped by a few times to check on us and he was so kind and hospitable. Our server Taylor was the sweetest guy and very attentive. Everyone that worked there was attentive and the food was delicious. The sausage app plate with pickled onions and pickles was delightful! The supreme focaccia and fish of the day with artichoke risotto was just chefs kiss! Can’t wait to come back. See you again soon Coohills!

We had our wedding here and it was perfect! The food, the service, the intimate 22person room. We decided to get married a week before and found this place on a Wednesday. Diane was amazing at helping us pick everything and get everything in order! We are so happy we chose Coohills And a bonus was being on the river for beautiful photos too. Thank you so much!
Also just to note again how much our guests raved about the food. Also they couldn’t have been more accommodating to special diets.

We had an interesting experience when stopping in quick before a game. At first they didn’t want to seat us because we had a kid with. Then our server was new and had some slip ups, and our drinks took forever. Just wasn’t what we were looking for, but the place is nice, and clean. BUT I have to give a shoutout to them as they have gone above and beyond since in making it right, and we are excited to come back to visit someday! It truly speaks volumes that Diane was so kind after the fact. Plus the apps and drinks that did eventually make it to our table were delicious, so we are thrilled we get to try more items from the menu.
