Conway’s Pub Eatery in Conway, Washington was a great venue. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and laid-back—exactly the kind of spot you want to hang out, grab a drink, and actually enjoy your time.
The service was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely upbeat without being over the top. You can tell the staff cares about making sure everyone has a great experience.
We also tried a few appetizers, and they were delicious – hot, and perfect for sharing. And the drinks were just as good: well-made, cold, and exactly what you want with good pub food.
Overall, great food, great drinks, great people, and an all-around awesome atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

This pub has to be one of the best we have been too in a long time! Very community minded, have TV with all the sports you can watch. They have amazing food we have dined here about 7 times so far and everytime we try something new and it does not let us down! Highly recommend the Ruben sandwich!! But super friendly service, quick kitchen so you don’t have to wait especially when it’s a packed house! Online Jukebox so have all sorts of songs as well a great bar area and Pull-Tabs! Very small local pub with a lot of history and amazing service! Highly recommend this place even if you’re just driving thru!! Cannot wait till my next meal there!

Had excellent burgers here. They were great about accommodating my food allergies. Enjoyed the band too. Service was attentive albeit forgetful. There were five of us and we all agreed 4*’s.

Had lunch here with a friend yesterday. My food was great! Friend wasn’t to happy with the clam strips or the shrimp they offered her instead. But they say the oysters are fresh and delicious. I guess the clam strips and shrimp come pre-breaded and frozen. The sandwiches are great tho!

Great little pub with awesome food and even better service. All the staff are just nice and good at serving. Plus, they were fun and easy to talk to. The food. Amazing. Large portions would describe Conway pub, plain and simple. Take a look at my photos, huge portions. The club sandwich was delicious, and I could only eat half. This should be on your stop list while visiting the tulip festival.

This is a tough one….
I think once voted the best dive bar in the PNW, for good reason, has both improved and got worse with new change of ownership/management/staff.
If I were to make this review 12 months ago:
Food – ***** – great food for a dive bar
Service – * – if assuming minimum in most reviews
Atmosphere – *** – …..it’s a dive bar
Three months ago:
Food – *****
Service – *** – getting better, but still wanting
Atmosphere – ***/**** – dive bar but doing better!
Now, and the main change of food….
Food – *
– They went on the cheap, likely a Cisco/pre-made junk. The beef patties used to be hand pressed and cook. Now the burger patties are a pre-processed, cardboard-tasting junk. Sides are smaller. It’s just…… generic. Much worth the extra (or fewer?) few minutes from any direction- La Conner, Anacortes, Big Lake, Mount Vernon, Arlington…
Service – ***, stable at “average at best.”
Atmosphere – *** – dive bar unchanged. I still like the atmosphere because it’s what I like. And it’s relatively unchanged.

Food was good the Captains platter was great.Deep fried mushrooms were delicious. Hope you are not in a hurry I was at this place for 3.5 hrs staff was slow yet nice. Great place to go right off the freeway in an old historic town. Antique store across street.

I have always enjoyed going to Conway pub. It’s changed a lot since the new owner. I’ve been there multiple times since thinking I would give them a second chance but today was the last straw. The oyster burgers were my favorite but since the new owners they changed the buns to the cheaper option and removed the bacon. Durning lunch which is always busy they only have one server. Be ready to wait over an hour for food and drink refills yeah right. The waitress left out half the order and then put it in wrong. This has been my constant experience since the new owners. I used to bring groups in from my work and really enjoyed it. Sad this place has become just another low quality restaurant.
