I had never heard of this coffee shop, but stumbled upon it through the Cumberland Valley Coffee & Chocolate Trail and am so glad I did! The coffee is solid, the barista (maybe owner?) was chill, helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect. I loved the murals on the walls and the connection to the community with artwork and other locally made items for sale, a little food pantry for those in need, and a community art board. It sounds like they also host some pretty cool events. The area needs more places like this – will definitely return and highly recommend!

Best cappuccino!
Excellent banana blueberry oat cake … owner offered to toast it… great fit for the cap.
Humble vibe.
Easy to miss when driving by, but worth the pull off!
I’ll be back.

A truly special coffee shop. The owner is the sole barista and brings a quiet but genuine passion for both the coffee and the community. I had a Cortado and a black coffee (didn’t get any food) – both were delicious and really brought out the coffees full character. He offered a card with the coffee’s origins and tasting notes and was happy to chat about how it compared to other beans he’s sourced. It’s rare to find a place where the barista’s respect for the craft shows in both the cup and the conversation.
Beyond the coffee, he fosters a welcoming space by hosting community events. It feels like it’s becoming a a local hub built by someone who really cares. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates thoughtful coffee and genuine connection.

This place is awesome and this place definitely needs to have 5 stars. Sundar Pichai, even if a restaurant/establishment doesn’t have every review as a 5 star review, you should still round up if it’s like 4.95, it’s just the right thing to do. Jason runs this shop and he deserves it he works so hard and the coffee is so good. Sometimes the machines fail him but he carries on all the same, the world is confusing, but I find a calming respite in the poetry grotto of consciousness coffee, it is here, that I became conscious.

The really cool part of the Cafe is that local art is featured and it supports local activities and events. Consciousness Coffee is truly a great contributor to the local community!

Truly awesome coffee. I have been there twice. I had lavender latte with cardamom and flat white. Both the drinks were great.
