Connie’s has been a mainstay in this area for many years. It is a no frills atmosphere but it is comfortable and well maintained. The wait staff and kitchen staff are friendly and make sure you are always happy w your meal choice.
My family and I have been going to Connie’s for many years and have never been disappointed. So many options it is never easy to make a decision from the menu choices. Count on a daily special list as well making it harder to choose your meal.

Tiny place putting out some great food, we loved their breakfast this Sunday,my bananas foster French toast was perfect and even the breakfast sausage was on another level. One minor issue that I should have raised at the time, I think my orange juice had started to turn, it had slight effervescence and a sour taste. The lunch and dinner menu really looked good, I’ll be trying the shrimp and grits next time!

I have genuinely tried to give Connie’s Restaurant chance after chance, and at this point it’s clear that was a mistake. The food is consistently terrible across the board — not “one bad day” terrible, but reliably bad.
This visit was the final straw. I asked for my home fries crispy. That’s it. Not complicated. The server’s response? “He doesn’t really do that, but I’ll ask.” That alone should’ve been my warning to leave. Sure enough, the home fries arrived raw — not undercooked, not lightly done — straight-up raw. How a breakfast place can’t manage crispy home fries is beyond me.
And this isn’t an isolated incident. I keep coming back hoping things will improve, and every single time I leave disappointed. Food comes out poorly cooked, poorly prepared, and with zero attention to what the customer actually asked for. It feels like basic requests are treated as inconveniences instead of expectations.
At some point you have to stop blaming “off days” and start accepting the pattern. Connie’s has become the definition of inconsistency and low effort. I wanted to like this place — I really did — but after multiple bad meals, I’m done wasting money and time on food that never delivers.
There are plenty of places that actually care about what they put on a plate. This isn’t one of them.

Connie’s is a hometown diner equivalent to Cheers. You walk in and everybody knows your name. Well they know my name as I’m a regular. Carlos the chef cooks up delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Definitely worth a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered a hash omelette with Swiss and it was good. Home fries weren’t cooked enough, with little to no seasoning. Coffee was hot and good.

Accidentally found this place waiting for my tires to be worked on. The best breakfast! The grits were out standing, came with sausage, biscuit and eggs. Servers were super nice and made sure the coffee was hot and flowing. Wish I could give it more stars than 5.

Connie’s is a great breakfast joint with everything you’d expect such a place to have. It’s been a great meeting place for breakfast get togethers with friends and never feels rushed.

Great breakfast joint. Prices were reasonable, portions were good. I had the eggs with DELICIOUS SAUSAGES (all caps were on the menu). Sausage was homemade and they were delicious. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. My kid had the pancakes and loved them. This could become a regular breakfast spot, highly recommend.

Customer satisfaction is gone. This used to be a great place. I just ordered a blt and a club blt w/extra bacon no tomatoes. I got two exact blts, no club, no extra bacon and tomatoes were on it still. They don’t care at all but I got charged for it at the register. They know you won’t drive back once you take it home and find out its wrong. If you want one they won’t mess up ho down the street to Fork in The Road Deli or The Tavern Treetops, always reliable. Never going to Connie’s again for 3 strips of bacon and tons of lettuce.
