Booked our table via phone two weeks prior.
Our visit was 10/10 from start to finish. Customer Service was excellent & the food was superb.
The restaurant was in a nice location (parking on street, couple of mins away).
There was nothing I could say negative about our evening at The Bass & Lobster.
Well done to all who worked there!
Would totally recommend and would not hesitate returning when back in Jersey.

The Bass & Lobster consistently provides excellent food, with a well thought out menu including beautifully cooked game dishes with rich sauces in the winter along with traditional favourites such as locally caught fish and chips. All of the food is perfectly presented and seasoned and where possible local produce is used. Even their ice-cream is homemade and delicious! Both the a la carte and set menus are very good value and reasonably priced. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who take great pride in providing exemplary service in their comfortable and spotlessly clean restaurant near the beach in Gorey. Dog friendly. We highly recommend and will definitely return.

Just been on a 5 day break and was taking too this amazing restaurant food was outstanding I had the duck and my husband had fish and chips it was my favourite restaurant the owner she was so friendly and can’t forget to mention the crumble it was to die for . We got some home made chocolates with the bill at the end and I could have taking a bag of them home if they sold them so good . When I return to jersey be my first stop back .

While on holiday to Jersey we came across a hidden gem of a restaurant. We had a set lunch menu which was 5 courses and what a tasty treat it was.
Better than a lot of high priced London restaurants.
Nicely presented and brought to our table by friendly staff.
Reasonably priced with ample portions.

One of the best meals ever. Lots of choices and everything we had was cooked to perfection with so many different flavours. Can’t fault the food or the very attentive staff that were excellent. Top marks only wish we could go again but only on holiday.

We arrived just as they had opened and managed to bag the last table. They even accommodated our two dogs and rejigged the table plan so we could dine in the area where dogs are allowed.
The menu was very extensive and I did struggle to make a decision as everything sounded so good.
I had the Jersey oysters to start, followed by the bass and lobster for mains. I knew I had got to find room for dessert as I had heard about their homemade ice cream. I had the dessert special which was banana cake with their beautiful ice cream.
Everything was cooked to perfection and was well presented. The service was impeccable. I couldn’t fault a thing. I would definitely return.

What a wonderful lunch! We ordered an assortment of starters and each was superb. The hostess was lovely and made us feel very welcome with our 5 month old in tow. All in all, a very memorable meal that will remain a highlight of our trip to Jersey.
