I’m blown away by Confianza China in Carolina! The food was absolutely phenomenal hands down some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve ever tasted. What makes it truly unique is the amazing Puerto Rican twist they add to every dish, giving each bite bold, unforgettable flavors.
Every plate was perfectly cooked, bursting with freshness, and the portions were generous enough to leave you completely satisfied. This isn’t just Chinese food it’s a perfect fusion of classic techniques with Puerto Rican flair.
If you want incredible food that surprises and delights your taste buds, Confianza China is a must visit. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Basic “American style” Chinese food, simple options, nothing fancy or complicated. For sure, cooked by Chinese. The food has been adjusted for local taste and apparently very popular with locals. It was quite busy at dinner time. Food is freshly prepared and appetising when served warm. Serving is large and the price is reasonable. There is a mistake on the English menu. The “chow mein” options are missing noodles (only meat and vegetables stir fried together), so it’s not a meal by itself.

The food is plentiful and while not authentic, quite delicious. And the tostones are crispy, salty, and very garlicy. And may I add the best I ever tasted.

I was visiting Puerto Rico and heard that Chinese food here is a must-try. A local recommended this spot, and after seeing the positive Google reviews, my family and I decided to give it a chance. We ordered a variety of dishes including fried chicken, pepper steak, garlic shrimp, orange chicken, tostones with garlic, mixed lo mein, fried pork, and mixed fried rice.
Unfortunately, most of the dishes were underwhelming and lacked flavor. The only standout item was the tostones with garlic, which were very good. The fried chicken was fine, but beyond that, nothing really impressed us. We also wanted to try their ribs, but they were unavailable.
Service left much to be desired. The woman taking our order at the counter was rushed and dismissive, which set a negative tone for the meal. Between the poor service and the disappointing food, I wouldn’t return nor recommend this restaurant. I’m confident there are better options for Chinese food in Puerto Rico.

Food overall is very underwhelming. I originally wanted to order the ribs as the reviews stated this is their signature dish but they were out. Instead I had an order of tostones, chicken broccoli and peppered stake. It all lacked flavor which is disappointing as they have great reviews. It is a very busy spot, within minutes of sitting down to eat the place got packed so they are doing something right. Would definitely give it a second chance someday but for this one experience I left expecting more.

We came here because everyone was ranting and raving about the tostones w/ garlic. The tostones seemed off and the garlic was more oil than garlic. The meat we had tasted weird also like it was cooked in old oil. I could taste different flavors of different meats. For example, we had pork but could taste fish on it. Maybe we came on a off day because it fell really short of what people were saying. The only thing I can say for sure is the portions are generous.

We ordered a combination of pepper steak, orange chicken, boneless ribs, chicken wings, tostones con ajo and an egg roll. My favorite was the tostones con ajo. The Chinese rice had a lot of ingredients, but it lacked flavor. The meats were okay, but I have had better. Prices are reasonable.
The place was packed on a Tuesday night. Customers have the option of dinning-in and during the hour I spent there, I did not see any staff members cleaning the tables. We had to clean our own table since it was dirty and sticky. Final thought: I’ll not visit it again.

Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in Puerto Rico and it’s not even close. We ordered two combinations. Boneless ribs with the Chinese rice and fries and the Pepper Chicken with the Chinese rice and fries. It was insanely amazing.

Chinese food with Latin flavors, locals recommended this place, and it was really good, the fried rice has that latin flavor that can’t find in Chinese restaurant in USA. Fresh ingredients, crowded at dinner time. Worth the wait. Nothing fancy.
