I love this place! I have been visiting since i was a kid and always love the old school clean look and the friendly service. It truly is Scranton Pa and the spirit of our city located in a single restaurant. The weiners are delicious as well as the cruchy fries. Come visit and experince the good people of Scranton Pa.

I am sitting in this place right now and I am both in heaven and bummed that I have never been here before! The food is so good! My mom told me that they have the best fries and she wasn’t kidding! My first bite made me close my eyes and transported me to a boardwalk in the past for a few moments.
The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. I love the drawings of local celebrities(I think) on the walls, as well as older pictures of Scranton. Definitely check out this place!

Keep in mind their specialty hot dog (Texas Weiner) sandwich is pretty small. It’s a hotdog sliced and placed on the bun. Very tasty. I ate two and that was filling. Onion rings are good with a large portion. Great decorated dining room. Service was prompt.

I’m from Texas and had a craving for a chili dog so I picked this place. Not disappointed. Choose the foot long dog with nacho cheese and spicy mustard . Garlic truffle fries were also a good choice for me. They have many others I would go back and try. Got a cotton candy milkshake to go. I would definitely come back again

First time here, really enjoyed the dogs. Slicing the dogs in half I’m not accustom too but did not affect the taste of the dogs. my Texas Weiner had a soft steamed bun, the chili had a good taste without being over spiced. My service was excellent, spoke to the main guy who cooked the dogs, I was told there celebrating 100 years of serving their style of hot dogs. Here’s to another great 100 years!

This is an institution in Scranton. I enjoyed my food very much and will be back. The waitress was the nicest and very attentive to our needs. This is the type of place that you go for the unique food. If you want something that matches your expectations, stick with chain places. It may not be the best, it is not the worse, but is very good and unique.

Awesome old school diner vibe with even better weiners. This place is dirt cheap and delicious. The Texas Weiner was wonderful and so happy to see my friends on the walls. Stop by for a treat if you’re ever in the area.
