Coney Burger easily serves one of the most delicious burgers in town. What truly sets them apart is the way they layer flavors, each bite is perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying, something that’s hard to replicate even at top burger spots.
Whether you go for the Wagyu Champion burger or keep it classic, they absolutely master the craft. And it’s worth saying: a great patty means nothing without a great bun. Coney gets this right, the bread is soft, flavorful, and holds everything together perfectly.

Coney Burger had been on our list for a while, and on a last-minute Friday night—after one of those weeks filled with back-to-back issues and nonstop problem-solving as entrepreneurs—we finally decided to go.
To be honest, we walked in with low expectations. Miami is packed with overhyped spots pushed by influencers, and more often than not, the experience ends with a meh. But this place felt different right away. You could see the chef in the back, fully locked in, focused on the craft—not rushing, not cutting corners.
Then the burgers arrived.
Yes, it’s a smash burger—but not the kind where you’re wondering “where’s the beef?” This was perfectly smashed, crispy on the edges, juicy, and balanced. From the very first bite, it was clear: this was something special.
Love at first bite.
Without exaggeration, we easily ranked it as one of the best burgers in Miami—if not the best. Simple, executed at a high level, and done with intention.
Our mood going in was not the same mood going out. This is what good food is supposed to do. We will be back! ❤️

We just had the absolute pleasure of trying out Coney Burger with my family, and I have to say it was a top-notch experience from start to finish. This place is a true gem, run by a wonderful family team. The husband (Pedro) and wife (Vanesa) duo are super welcoming, and their little sister (Valentina) whips up some amazing milkshakes that you just have to try. Great service from Tobias as well.
We went all in on the menu: strawberry, chocolate, and cookies and cream shakes were all fantastic. My wife and daughter loved their OG burgers, and my son and I went for the Wagyu burger, which was just out of this world. We also tried their brisket fries covered in Parmesan cheese, and they were absolutely delicious, served by Romero.
On top of that, the service was warm and friendly, and the music and atmosphere just made it a fun, laid-back spot to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend Coney Burger to anyone in Miami looking for a fantastic burger joint with a personal touch!

The burger was absolutely delicious, their sauce really stood out and added so much flavor. The patty was cooked perfectly, juicy and just right, and the bread was fluffy and airy, which made the whole burger even better. The fries were crispy and fresh, exactly how they should be. We sat outside and it was nice and relaxed since it wasn’t too crowded. There’s street parking on the side road.

I’m from Brazil and I was visiting Miami when I came to this burger place. The flavor is truly unique and different from anything I’ve tried before. I drove about 40 minutes from my hotel just to eat here, and it was absolutely worth it. The burger was delicious, well prepared, and full of flavor. Coney Burger checked off all the boxes for my family and I. We were 4 and we ordered 2 OG Smash Burgers and 2 Wagyu Champs. We also ordered brisket fries, regular fries, and Oreo milkshakes. We visited on Sunday the minute they opened and sat at the bar. The owners Vanessa and Pedro have poured their heart and soul into Coney and it comes through in many ways. The OG was a classic burger prepared to perfection and the Champ was my personal favorite. Every bite of each burger was an explosion of flavors. The attention to detail that Pedro put into the Champ is simply special. Freshly baked brioche, pickled heirloom tomato, wagyu patty, yuzu Mayo, and tomato paste combine to create this master piece. Awesome to see a family owned burger joint killing it. We are instantly big fans!

We loved this place — a little hole-in-the-wall where the burgers truly speak for themselves. We had the Wagyu and the OG burger, and it was awesome watching how each one was made with real care and precision. You can tell they’re focused on consistency, and it absolutely shows in the flavor.
Both burgers were juicy and delicious, and the brisket fries were such a surprise — I was skeptical at first, but wow, they were incredible. Nice service, great burgers, and we loved the cookie they give as a little dessert touch.

I wish I had a better picture but I took one bite and couldn’t stop.
Quality ingredients, caramelized onions are super flavorful, burger patty is cooked to perfection with amazing flavor and the buns are noticeably fresh. I scooped up the leftover burger sauce with my fries and it was a beautiful experience. Milkshake was creamy and the free cookie was a great touch.
Service was real, super friendly and attentive. Both outside and indoor options, vibes are great.

I finally found the perfect burger in Miami. A burger that reminds me of Chicago and the Midwest and iykyk, Au Cheval/Small Cheval/Mott St level of a solid burger. When it comes to every facet of the burger, there is not one thing I can critique.
I’ve tried almost every Miami burger joint-Skinny Louie’s, Chuggie’s, Cowy Burger, La Birra Bar, Smash Bro’s, etc. Although good burgers, not perfect.
To start off with, Coney has four mastered burgers. Being from the Midwest, this is how we do things. Perfect a few vs a mediocre bunch. I got the OG and my husband tried Wagyu Champ. All their burgers are grass fed, cooked in beef tallow, including their fries. Their bun’s are baked fresh daily.
Every other burger down in Miami is either too soggy, they can’t add tomato and lettuce to break up the fat of the meat, is too greasy, or the meat is low quality (have literally had grey colored patties) is cooked in seed oils, there is guava and too unique of flavors (as much as I enjoy unique flavors, not on my burger please) and there is always something to dock points off.
The OG was perfect. Meat was juicy, but not greasy. The bun was able to absorb and withstand the meat, cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, and sauce without breaking apart and becoming messy/soggy. The fact that it had lettuce, tomato and onion as an option. For as big as the burger was, I do not feel heavy or like I just had a burger.
The fries were perfect. No brown spotting, they were all golden fried to the perfection. Solid fries to go with your burger. We also tried their vanilla milkshake. A classic to go with your meal.
To top it off, we met the owner and her husband (chef). Genuine and kind people that were assisting us with top quality customer service from the moment we arrived, even though they were busy with other customers.
Customer service was fantastic, ambience was great, food was perfect. I’m only being so dramatic because I’ve been searching for a burger that reminds me of home from when I moved here, seven years ago.
Finally found my go to burger spot.
Disregard every negative review because Miami is full of the most fake and entitled people I’ve ever met and my husband and I travel a lot. Try it for yourself!
