ConCon’s is a small homey diner that makes everyone feel like a local at very reasonable prices. The first time I tried to go, the wait was too long for a seat inside the diner, but this time, I was able to easily get a seat at the counter. Service was great, and everyone was attentive. Food was cooked well i.e. over medium eggs were just runny enough, and French toast was crispy along with perfect crunch to the bacon. Deduct was for the lack of seasoning on anything, but I have to keep in mind the folks eating here regularly, probably like to salt their own food. So, with that said, I liked my meal well enough.

8/2/1025, I stopped in for lunch and ordered the chicken strip dinner. 3 chicken strips, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, mac-n-cheese, and potato salad. The chicken was good, seasoned well and not too overcooked, the mashed potatoes and gravy I believe were pre-prepared and not made from scratch, as are the vast majority of mashed potatoes and brown gravy at almost every other diner. The potato salad and mac-n-cheese I absolutely believe was made in house, and was good, real good.
The service was great, our server, and other servers, made sure we had everything we needed and our glass never was empty.
It definitely has a 60’s diner vibe, the price, including drink is about $15/ person. Only complaints, my wife’s Cole slaw, although being made in house, had a runny/ soupy texture, and the dining area does not seat enough people so it’s difficult to get a table. We have tried several times to eat here and couldn’t get a table until today. Not a bad problem for a diner to have, and the reason they have this problem is the food is good, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable.
I would recommend you give it a try. You won’t be disappointed, they will see to that.

A true piece of Americana. It’s a small diner, busy busy busy. We sat at the counter for a change and had pleasant conversations with the waitresses. My breakfast was wholesome eggs bacon and pancakes. My husband had the catfish – served on Fridays – and he said it was delicious. If you are looking for something cute and quaint and not your ordinary breakfast place, stop in. I will tell you that the restrooms are TINY. So tiny that the sink is outside of the potty area but this didn’t bother me.

Wow!!! Just let me say what a great little place to dine! So personalized, we’re greeted by more than just our waitress. I absolutely loved their story of the two sisters Teresa and Connie helping each other out in their restaurant business!
The place was small and packed, but it was so worth the wait (not a long wait at all, maybe 5 min). All the patrons there were super friendly. It felt very inviting and family-friendly.
Now the food was awesome! I wanted to try so very many items…so my family and I will definitely be back! More pictures to follow!
Thank you, Teresa and Connie!

Traveling to Nashville, we saw ConCon’s online and decided to try it. So glad we did as it was one of the best breakfast meals we’ve had! Great food (country ham, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pancakes), great experience and even got to meet owner Connie who served us! Try it, you will not be disappointed!

This is a must visit. As we arrived, Connie welcomed us and got us seated next to the drive-thru window. I loved it! Teresa worked the window and made us welcome in their beauty diner. Biscuits and gravy were amazing and the gang loved everything we ordered.

The service was excellent, but the hamburger and tater tots weren’t that good. It was my first time there, and I thought the burger would have been handmade coming from a well known and highly rated city staple.

Full of good vibes and delicious food, ConCon’s is one of those places you’ve just gotta go back and visit.

The first things that hits you is the restaurant itself. Its walls are filled with pictures, trinkets and full of character.

We both had the ConCon special, which was a delicious assortment of breakfast choices. I would highly recommend paying a little extra for the local sausage pattie, you won’t be disappointed.

And I can’t speak enough to just how friendly the atmosphere was. Our server was super nice and attentive, and you could tell that customers here feel and are treated like family.

We will definitely be back for another meal.

After our worst experience from the Waffle House down the road we came here for breakfast. This place was packed but the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere. We definitely will be back here. Thank you to staff for a wonderful breakfast experience after an already rude awakening morning from the Waffle House.
