2/6/2026-the corned beef quesadilla was a very nice size and it was tasty. 10 whole fried chicken wings along with fries was a great deal for $15. The chicken tasted home cooked. Customer service was pleasant and polite. The only drawback is the location. It’s located in an area that you definitely don’t want to be in after dark.

Love their customer service! Very nice and friendly disposition! Food is absolutely divine! I will ALWAYS be back! They take their time to make sure food is top notch and prepared perfectly. The nastiest chicken Alfredo I ever had in my life for 28$ Also customer service the lady didn’t want to answer what came in anything it doesn’t say it on the menu. I paid for garlic bread because it won’t come with it and I didn’t get my garlic bread I paid 2.50 for the Alfredo is soo dry and not good at all. Also the cornbeef quesadilla was horrible it taste like lunch meat. I’m very upset that I spent 48$ not good customer service upfront.

How unfortunate! I decided to try this black owned restaurant before going downtown and spending my money else where. I was charged $40 for a Alfredo dish that was mediocre at best. The wait was long and the service was dry and unpleasant. The pasta dish lacked pasta and sauce, there was an extra $14 , paid for shrimp to be added that was outrageous. I go out my way to support my own only to be disappointed and taking advantage of. Again with the over charging and underperforming. How unfortunate.

The corned beef quesadilla was big enough for 3 people. It was very tasty but a little salty. The wait was about 30-40 minutes.

I ordered over the phone, steak bites with mashed potatoes and broccoli, plus an extra side of mac and cheese. The total was $38. When I checked the receipt, I saw I was charged $13 for the mac and cheese. I understand paying for an extra side, but $13 is excessive…especially since the same item is $8 on DoorDash.
When I pointed this out, the cashier said it’s a known issue when orders are rung up over the phone and offered no adjustment.
Food quality didn’t help: the mac and cheese was dry, the mashed potatoes were overly salty and tasted boxed (despite the menu claiming red skin potatoes), the broccoli was salty and mushy, and the steak was decent but also salty.
This was a waste of $40. I won’t be back, and customers should check their receipts carefully to make sure you’re not getting ripped off like I did.

Food was good however it would’ve been nice if they removed the skin from the salmon before frying. Also since there is not an actual website to review the menu and prices when calling to place the order the person who took the order should have advised there is an additional $5 charge for yams and macaroni ( not sure why considering the portion is the same but I respect their prices is their prices) but again it would have been nice to know that macaroni and yams is not considered a regular side item to them unlike most places and there is an up-charge. I would also recommend using parchment paper (consider customer reheating options) instead of aluminum foil inside of the food containers.

I am from Milwaukee and this is my second time eating food from here. The food is full of flavor. The portions are hearty. I have zero complaints and will visit this place whenever I am in town! Recommendation: Salmon (fried) with mashed potatoes and broccoli! I highly recommend this place. Heads up, it is carryout only though.
