Con Murphy’s continues to have amazing food. They could have a party of 100 and as a regular diner you’ll still be taken care of and given amazing food and drinks here. Recommend booking ahead if your party is larger than 6, especially during the holidays or big city event days. PS: Best Irish coffee in the city! If you are at the bar always ask for the best (schedule depending) Michelle, Tuck, Aisling, Latoya they kill it here at Con Murphy’s. Chef is always pouring out top food in the city, for the fellow chicken tender lovers these are the best in the city. All the fixin’s too (bbq, honey mustard, tossed in buffalo, etc.)!

Con Murphy’s in Philadelphia delivers the perfect blend of cozy pub vibes, hearty food, and genuinely warm service. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming—lively enough to be fun, yet relaxed enough to enjoy a leisurely meal.

The menu is packed with comforting Irish-American favorites, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The Soup of the Moment is a MUST. Irish Breakfast will never upset you. The fish and chips are another highlight—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned without feeling heavy.

Drinks are equally satisfying. Whether you go for a smooth pint of Guinness, a well-made cocktail, or one of their local beer selections, you’ll find something that hits the spot. The bartenders know their craft, and the staff overall is friendly, attentive, and quick without ever rushing you.

Whether you’re grabbing brunch before exploring the city, enjoying dinner with friends, or just craving a classic pub meal done right, Con Murphy’s is absolutely worth a visit. A Philly gem with heart, flavor, and the kind of hospitality that keeps you coming back

Just ordered some hot wings for lunch close to noon, the bartender says it’ll be 15 minutes. I don’t called to wawa to get an iced tea and came back in 7 minutes. When I walked back into con Murphy’s my food was on the counter the bartender says right on time. I get back to my office to find that the wings were under cooked. I can’t understand why this happened well I have a clue I’m damn sure not Irish. These were the worst wings I’ve ever had in my life I could not eat them so they went to waste. If I’m sick from what I did digest I know exactly where to go. Overall the wings were horrible and I suggest they are taken off the menu. Crappy service even worst food.

I did not dine at this establishment, this review is based solely on the great customer service I experienced. We were guests at the Windsor Suites, to which this restaurant is conveniently adjoined. We had decided to dine out for dinner. Upon returning to our room, we discovered that the other restaurant had omitted mayonnaise from our order, and we found it difficult to enjoy our meal without it. I approached this restaurant and offered to purchase some. The waitress graciously declined payment and inquired about the desired quantity.

We decided to sit in the outside portion of the restaurant because I use an Electric scooter and there were steps everywhere.

I ordered cheese steak egg rolls and French fries. Both were very good. My son ordered fish tacos avd my husband ordered the southwest bowl, both enjoyed their meals. My one complaint is that they did not give us enough ketchup.

The service was good but a little slow. The cleanliness was good and I was able to find a decent seat and fit my scooter nearby. We wound return here again.

Went there after the Rocky Run for Irish brunch. Customer service was great. Had the Salmon Benedict and the sweet waffle, both were excellent with coffee. A perfect savory and sweet combination.

We stopped by Murphy’s Irish Pub in Philadelphia for happy hour and ordered the fish & chips (with truffle fries), Chicken Francese with rice, and boneless wings. The fish had good flavor but was a little on the greasy side, though the truffle fries were excellent – crispy and full of flavor. The Chicken Francese was hearty with a nice lemony sauce, and the boneless wings were a solid happy hour snack.

Our server was really nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that cozy Irish pub charm. Overall, Murphy’s is a great Philly spot for casual bites, friendly service, and happy hour deals.

We opted to go here as it was the in house restaurant of our hotel. We were seated immediately on a weekday evening. We opted the outdoor seating for some fresh air. I chose a non-alcoholic drink which they did not have on the menu and the waitress recommended a mule drink to be only option which would taste good without alcohol. The drink was fine—perhaps not crafted to perfection, but they did the job and paired well with the friendly, laid-back atmosphere.
We ordered wings and pasta . They were both delivered warm. It was good but not exceptional. Quantity wise it was good for 2 people.
To me it may not top my “must-eat” list, but it earns a spot for chill evenings and solid company.
