This place is amazing and is my go-to spot in town for Mexican food. Their birria tacos and elote are top notch. Chips are served nice and hot. Service is always very fast and everyone is polite and attentive.

My husband & I used to love Compradres; but, the last two visits were disappointing. Our beans were cold, cold! Rice was room temp and burrito lacked any flavor. Service was scarce and dining room was dirty. We sure hope they step it up and get back to their roots!

This is not my first trip to Compardres & it will not be my last. The reason for only 4 stars is strictly due to pricing as they are noticeably more expensive than most of their competition, so we only stop in for a snack as opposed to being regulars. The quality of the food is always good as is the service. Their Mexican Tacos are the reason I stop in there and tge fact that they have a Hot Sauce that is actually Hot, and the latter is the biggest reason that I will continue to stop in at Compardres, as most places Hot Sauce isn’t even warm. So I would suggest that if you like to season your food with a really good flavored, truly Hot, Hot Sauce, then swing by Compardres.

Absolutely disgusting, ordered take out, had to throw away the tamale. Actually got sick from it. The rest of the fajitas chicken and steak were terrible, even the tortillas were rubbery and just bad . Hope the rest of my family doesn’t get sick. Avoid this place!

I give this place two stars because if you’ve had REAL Mexican food you’d know I’m right. The carne asada tacos were dry and the torta is not a real torta. I guess it’s the best place in town to those who live here, but when you go out get yourself some Delicious and Real Mexican food!

This little mom & pop restaurant is a gem. The food is awesome and the service fantastic! Your money will go a loooooong way here. Every time I’m in Hattiesburg my wife and kids insist on eating there and it doesn’t hurt my feelings a bit. Best authentic tacos I’ve had in years!
