I can not say enough positive things about Commonwealth and the staff! We hosted a baby shower for my sister over the weekend and everything was absolutely perfect. Trying to orchestrate for individuals all over PA and MD (from Baltimore myself), Rachel was extremely helpful and quick to respond. The staff was amazing and extraordinarily hospitable. The food was delicious and the space was adorable, clean, and welcoming. Big plus for us? The music selection was directly within our wheelhouse; big shout out to the folk/indie fan! We had about 20 people and feel like the space was tailor-made for that number. If you’re looking for n intimate event space, this is it! Thank you all so much! ☀️

Ate here 2 weeks ago for brunch and loved it! I didn’t know what to expect when I first saw the place because it’s in the heart of a residential neighborhood but the atmosphere & decor inside is great! Staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I had the salmon benedict and my friend had the hip-pea hash…both were very delicious and tasted very fresh.

We had visited this location on a whim July 25 ’21. It is located in such a quiet area of Lancaster City I would’ve never thought to look there for a restaurant. My husband and I wanted a quiet place for brunch and this worked out perfect! The staff was amazing, the food was bursting with flavor and the presentation of the food was awesome as well! Shown in the pictures are the salted maple lattes, loaded avocado toast and chicken and waffles. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys supporting local family owned business where the food is impeccable!

Great place! The staff were all super friendly and helpful, plus they seemed to be helping of each other as well which is always great to see. Food and coffee was really good. My partner got a iced latte with lavender, something I don’t normally like but when I tried it, I thought it was really well done. The pig with fig & big ol breakfast sandwich were delicious and their homemade biscuits are very unique and delicious.

Service was excellent and friendly. Atmosphere was welcoming. Food was quickly and well prepared. The menu had standby classics and unique dishes for the most picky and most adventurous of eaters. The iced and hot lattes were also fantastic. Prices were reasonable and portion sizes were perfect. 5 stars all around!

One of my favorite things about living in the SoWe neighborhood! I will often meet friends here for brunch or just stop by for a cup of coffee to perk up a work from home day. Every item I’ve had from the menu has been delicious and I always look forward to trying new seasonal dishes.

Cute place. Nice service. Very tasty food. I was a glutton and ordered two brunch dishes but I think a normal person would enjoy one dish.
