“Bowls of Rice” Our food was outstanding! So delicious! We ordered a Crispy Orange Chicken Rice Bowl with butter fried rice. My husband and I shared the bowl, and we still had leftovers.

While the concept is great, this ghost kitchen has much to be desired. If you come looking to order on site, you get to wait among tons of coming and going delivery drivers. There are 3 indoor tables for eating (or waiting). The sound playing in the lobby is very annoying. Some of the offerings seem to be good while some seem lacking. We offered from Genki Sushi and it was ok. Nothing better than grocery store sushi, but more expensive. These types of places boggle my mind because their quality is uncheckable and there seems to be zero accountability. Pretty meh.

Pretty cool concept. Multiple restaurants that have food here. You can order on the kiosk as well. Parking can be a little wonky bc of the location but it’s pretty fast.

Review for 2 Compas Kitchen:

I’ve had the pleasure of trying both the pastor and birria tacos from 2 Compas Kitchen at their Arlington location and their new spot, and I can confidently say these are the best tacos around. The flavor is consistently amazing no matter which location you visit, making 2 Compas Kitchen a reliable go-to for taco lovers.

The pastor tacos are a perfect blend of savory and sweet, with tender, marinated pork that’s cooked to perfection. The pineapple adds just the right touch of sweetness, while the cilantro and onions bring a fresh, crisp contrast. Every bite is a flavor explosion, wrapped up in a warm, soft tortilla.

Their birria tacos are equally impressive, with rich, flavorful beef that’s been slow-cooked until it practically melts in your mouth. The deep, savory broth that comes with the birria tacos is perfect for dipping, adding an extra layer of indulgence to the experience. It’s hard to find birria tacos this good, and 2 Compas Kitchen has truly nailed it.

What makes it even better is how convenient their new location is for those in the Dallas downtown area. Whether you’re in Arlington or Dallas, you can expect the same top-notch taste and quality. If you’re in the mood for some incredible tacos, the pastor and birria tacos at 2 Compas Kitchen are a must-try!

Sweet Thang Cookies

I really wanted to love these. I mean, I paid $23 on DoorDash for TWO cookies – that’s soulmate pricing, not just “let’s be friends.”

I love the concept: thick cookies filled with icing? Say less. But when they showed up, the cookies were really hard and super crumbly. Instead of that soft, gooey, bend-in-the-middle cookie moment, they broke into dry chunks when you bit into them, and the texture just wasn’t it.

I know this is a ghost-kitchen pickup inside Commerce Fork, so I’m guessing freshness and timing may have played a role. I’d totally give them another shot if the cookies were softer and fresher, because the idea is amazing… the execution just didn’t match the price tag this time.

If you are a foodie, this is your spot. There are so many restaurants to choose from. My faves are as follow: The Taco Kitchen—they have the best Birria/Quesabirria in all of West Dallas. They have other items you should definitely check out too though. If you like spicy, you must try the jerk salmon tacos—it’s cooked to perfection and it is spicy, so if you like a kick, this is a MUST. They are known for their 3-layered ground beef taco which is fye too. You can’t go wrong with any of their food. My next favorite is the Krazy Bowls. As you can see, I love jerk. Try their Jerk Salmon Bowl. Thank me later. And…if you like shrimp n grits, those are on point too. They have really great bowls. Oh, they just added birria ramen bowls too…so so yummy. That consommé is so good you can drink it. Okay…now Kajun Korner has catfish n cheesy grits and they did not miss the mark. I love this combination. But they also serve catfish and shrimp dinners too. And if you’re vegan like my daughter, check out The V Kitchen. It is vegan/vegetarian, so make sure you check for dairy is some items. But overall, the plantbased meat they use is seasoned very well. They have a Mexican flare to most menu items. The facility itself is very welcoming with limited seating inside/outside. I see folks eating in their cars. Why not!?!? Overall, I’ve been coming here for several months now and you are sure to find something for everyone.

I placed and paid for an order through your system while the store was closed. When I returned, I was neither given the item nor refunded. Being told to contact my bank for a mistake on your end is frustrating and poor customer service from this store’s Manager. It’s honestly pathetic customer service. I had the receipt, I had the order number. They could have simply given me what I ordered! The system accepting orders while closed is on them, not me. Telling a customer to “contact your bank” instead of fixing it is lazy customer service.

First visit and had no idea what to expect. Came in and ordered The Breakfast Brothers. And omg i was so impressed. I have been just savoring my food throughout the day. This food gave me the full sleepy feeling that you get when you eat at grandma’s house. And no matter what you have a taste for there is a restaurant to fill that crave. From Asian to Jamaican cuisine and everything in between. Planning a date night and dont crave the same foods. Come here. You wont be disappointed. Fast Service and orders are correct. I heard one order that was incorrect and it was caught and corrected before the customer came to puck it up or complain. Thats my kind of service. I will definitely wait patiently if you are correcting my order before i can complain about it. Thats a good look!

Food was amazing!! We had brunch from Primevega. For plant based or vegans there was another restaurant that had vegan food too. There are a few tables inside and some picnic tables outside if you’re eating there. We loved it so much we came back that night!

Review for the HOUSE OF HIBACHI:
The food here was great! I received the plate with chicken, steak, and shrimp with rice and veggies. I felt as if I received 10lbs of food as I walked out with mine and my wife’s order. the food was perfect as far as texture, temperature, and taste!
the food was not overly cooked and a good indicator of that is by eating a shrimp. you can tell if it’s rubbery then it’s over cooked. That was Certainly NOT the case here. the rice and veggies complimented the proteins very well and food was seasoned to perfection. just when you think it couldn’t get better, the sauces provided as far as teriyaki sauce and Sriracha sauce as well as other sauces made this food pop out even more vibrantly! definetly will return!
order on the kiosk and pay and wait till your order is ready in which a code will appear on your phone to open up a locker with your food inside 🙂
